August 31, 2012 11:37 pm I absolutely cannot make this but it sounds incredible. Any chance audio from the panels will be available as podcasts either free or even for a fee for those of us who want to hear the conversation??
April 12, 2012 7:00 pm Whoah! I almost missed the new League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Thanks for the heads up.
March 17, 2012 11:04 am I think it looks good. I like that they are doing something different. Too often it seems like every Spider-Man cartoon retells the same storylines, (origin, Sinister Six, Venom, etc.)
September 26, 2011 5:03 pm Can anyone confirm that Pacheco is rotating art duties with Greg Land? That may be my deciding factor on whether or not I buy this.
September 6, 2011 6:47 am It's ridiculous to suggest that a reviewer shouldn't give his opinion unless its positive. I found this review helpful. I too tried Casanova volumes 1 & 2, didn't connect with it and wondered if volume 3 would be the one where I got it. I trust Paul's opinion and he has helped me to decide I will pass. Paul did his part. It's up to Fraction to sell the book, not Paul.
August 3, 2011 10:54 am @johnvferrigno YES.  Mystery Men hits my sweet spot as well.  It's like a little Spirit, Mandrake, the Rocketeer, etc. all in one book

I am inspired!  My 9(+1) things:

1. Marvel's mid-level books.  Mystery Men, Journey into Mystery, Thunderbolts, S.H.I.E.L.D., my favorite Marvel books of the moment.
2. Comic art blogs!  Comic twart! Deviantart! Comic Art Fans!  Love 'em all
3. DC reboot.  Frankenstein! Demon Knights! Aquaman! All-Star Western! Batwoman! I'm in!
4. Exclamation Points!!!!!!
5. Paul Montgomery.  Ditto!  (Fuzzy Typewriter rocks)
6. DC animation  (and Avengers gives me hope for Marvel too)
7. Great directors on comic book movies
8, DCBS!  Their service rocks and they keep me out of the poor house.
9. Bowen Designs.  His Marvel busts are all over my house and the awesome makes me smile.
10. My pull list.  Every writer & artist on it gives me the happies.  Comics rock.
March 31, 2011 11:46 am Batman Year One!  Awww Yeah!
March 24, 2011 2:38 pm While the large majority of these double-shipping issues are by the main creative team, some of them sneak in a fill-in issue.

Only one of those Thunderbolts issues is being written by Jeff Parker, the other is short stories by 3 other writers.  Which one?  Marvel doesn't specify, thus making it difficult for me to know which issue to skip.  I pre-order on DCBS so if I can't figure out which is which by the order cut off date, I'm skipping both.

They did the same with Thor x.1, no Fraction or Ferry anywhere in that issue.
