March 19, 2012 12:42 pm would it blow everyone's mind if the T in T-dog stood for Tyrese.
March 19, 2012 11:11 am I was pretty excited to see Michonne show up, i even got a quizzical look from my girlfriend. But after thinking about it, and others expressing the same thing (Wally said she looked mad max-y, which i would agree with), did Michonne look out of place in this realistic setting? She looked like she stepped right out of the comic, zombies and all, and i have to wonder if this very comic book-y character will work in a series that has been set up to be very realistic in setting. I have high hopes for her, and i know a lot of people here do as well; but i just keep going back to that image of her that seemed very different for other images we've seen. Also, the reveal that the prison is just around the corner from the group was weird. The only reason i knew what it was is because i've read the book, but my girlfriend, who she and I work for the prison system, didn't recognize this at all. I would have preffered not to see it like this, but I know they wnated to show it to get people excited for the next season.
February 27, 2012 10:59 am I think that has something to do with it, but i thouht it was a great way to show the differneces between Rick and Shane, where as Rick doesn't quite pay attention to these questions and looks for the simplest answer. i.e. it must have been the scratches.
February 27, 2012 10:44 am I think the greatest thing this episode did was set it one week later, and was a great way for Marraza (sp) to sperate his run from Darabonts. Really loved the themeatic walkers, the lone walker in the field and Shane looking like he wanted to go after it, then not on the way back, and the two police walkers that they have to silently kill.
February 27, 2012 10:35 am I've never wanted to punch someone as much as i wanted to punch Andrea in this episode. I thought this was a really good episode, by far the best since the pilot (my opnion), and the only thing that stopped it from being a great episode was Andrea and her "let it be" thinking. I'm not sure if this scene was poorly written or the writers are trying to demonstrate how stupid Andrea is, but I am going with the former.
February 12, 2012 12:08 pm People harp, because it's what people do, especially when presented an opportunity to do it anonymously, and especially when they consider themselves an expert on the matter at hand. Let's face it, comic book fans are certainly experts in all things comic related. I think Social Media is a good way to get the message to lousy retailers, but those same retailers must be willing to listen and to take action, and that's hard to do when you're lazy or lousy.
January 20, 2012 12:38 pm Poor Bane, always being judged on all that muscle instead of who he actually is.
January 20, 2012 12:36 pm The inking in the Darwin piece is incredible!
January 16, 2012 4:29 pm well publishers sometimes give us so much info going into a book that we come to rely on it.
