March 2, 2012 6:03 pm Digital comical have become a larger part of my reading than I thought they would. I preorder through dcbs, I have 3 relativley local comic shops but I refuse to support one, another one is a nice little shop but offers no discount and is in a part of town that it is a pain to get to, and the third is also horrible to get to. I find myself using digital to pick up issues I may have missed. I have also been grabbing stuff during sales that I may have not grabbed otherwise.
November 9, 2011 6:22 pm hey ron, im fully up to date on itunes and ios 5 and im having the same problem, only with the video show.
October 7, 2011 6:06 pm Josh I agree about the cold open. I think cosplay is awesome, never done it, but the spirit cosplayers bring to a show is great, and there is nothing better than seeing a kid at a show get so excited to see chewy walking down the aisle. That being said I always get a chuckle about the cosplayers in the cold opens but never felt I was laughing at the cosplayers but at the mundane task these characters are engaging in. It's a similar gag to spidey eating Chinese take out with his mask pulled up on the side of a building. The humor is all about the juxtaposition, not laughing at the people.
October 3, 2011 8:26 pm i would say despite aquaman which is in my top 5 of the relaunch (may be biased, he is my fave DC character BY FAR) this was a weeak (see what i did there, huh huh). I was selective in what i pulled and am in for at least the first 3 issues of everything i bought

September 18, 2011 10:49 am I LOVED the design by Vanni LoRiggio on the honorable mentions page. But I may be being swayed by the brilliant artwork. That guys needsto draw some spidey covers
September 11, 2011 10:32 pm so what happened to Ron?
August 31, 2011 11:35 pm Guys this is really a great conversation thanks so much for doing this. I am picturing conor and Ron hunched over typewriters wearing vests and fedoras frantically typing and smoking lucky strikes this whole time. Anyway, would you say you got a sense of a connected universe as you read the books or did they feel more like each family had a feel or completely stand alone. thanks guys the buzz around animal man has me really excited
