September 1, 2013 11:04 pm Ditto on the pull list, I will miss it. How will I keep track of what comics I plan to buy now? Is there another site that does something similar? I guess I can use the Comixology wish list. I will miss all the articles as well, but I understand that all this stuff takes a lot of time to manage. At least the podcast continues, that's something.
July 31, 2013 10:57 am This Flash series will be the best TV show ever!!!! Well, maybe not, but it's my most anticipated new show since the original Flash show.
July 29, 2013 9:52 pm LOL, I assume Todd Huish worked on your website at some point, probably during the upgrade to the latest design. As I had googled him and he is a web designer.
July 29, 2013 4:33 pm You still have 2 annoying bugs in your pull list code. First, when I go to the "your comics", it shows this weeks pulls but last week's date. So when I print it off, it actually prints last week's comics. So I have to click on this week's date to get it to print this week's comics. 2nd, when I print to PDF, it defaults the file name to "Pullist for toddhuish.pdf". Who is this Todd Huish, that is not my name.
July 17, 2013 5:52 pm Why can't Gordon the intern hold the camera? What kind of an intern is he?
July 8, 2013 5:43 pm Yeah, and this storyline never pays off because they cancelled the book before this endless "Slough of Despond" storyline ended. She must think she is a really good writer with a title like that. A title that makes no sense to the average reader, by the way, unless they are into 17th century literature.
July 5, 2013 9:55 am It's good that they kept the fact that he is related to the Green Hornet intact.
May 9, 2013 8:02 am The comic book stores in Toronto don't really get the most out of FCBD for the most part. They either set limits on what you can get, or put their free comics far away from the rest of the store so they aren't even letting people see what they have for sale. For example from this year: 1,000,000 Comix : Only limit is one copy of each comic per person, so you can get everything, but they put their comics on a table at the front of the store, far away from the racks with all the new comics which are in the back. People just come in, get their free stuff, and leave. Labyrinth: They put their free comics in the midst of where all their trades are, but they limit it to 5 free comics total per person. So stingy that as a potential customer, I have no reason to even go there. Silver Snail: They put the FCBD comics on a table down the block, on the corner of an empty lot. The actual store is not visible from there, and if you do find it, they had a nightclub-style lineup to get into the store. They limit the free comics to 10 per person, which is reasonable. However, they put 4 of the FCBD comics inside the store, no advertising that they are up there (the 2 DC and 2 Marvel ones), so a lot of people will miss out on those.
April 20, 2013 9:15 am Actually you can share, just log in using your userid on their tablet. I have my, my wife and daughter's iPads set up to all use the same Comixology account. Works great, and it even tells me when my wife or daughter have left off at a certain page when I download a book that they are reading.
February 20, 2013 12:05 am They are really scraping the bottom of the barrel for new series ideas. Vibe, really? Do we really need a whole series about this guy?
