May 20, 2012 5:06 pm @BionicDave - Like you, I let the show wash over me without a lot of over-analysis. The story is strong, and so far, I trust where they're going. My understanding of the DC mythos allows me to enjoy the show enough on its own, and to wonder when some of these storylines may creep into the main DCU. IMHO, there are a hell of a lot of story points on this show popular enough to make what's on the stands a little more interesting. Oh… And the shadowy figure IS most likely the Black Beetle. Jaime and Khaji-da both will learn this season to "get by with a little help from their friends." To quote The Beatles. P.S. @SDucky25 - You are one of my heroes this weekend!
May 15, 2012 10:44 pm The next time you're in the store, TELL THEM you want the annuals. If they're not aware of what you read already, let them know. Don't leave it to chance.
May 15, 2012 10:27 pm Yay Whitney!! I say that 'cause it's better than most all "reality TV."
May 12, 2012 8:25 pm There's a reason for that. If there's one thing I've learned for this show, is that there's a reason for that. All Will Be Well.
May 8, 2012 11:21 pm when The Avengers cast appeared on the The TODAY show, the aspect of female-centric super hero stories/properties came up and The Pro was mentioned. Could have been by RDJr. My memory is foggy on who said it, but it WAS referenced to much laughter!
May 8, 2012 11:08 pm I've been reading SUPERGODS in bits on my lunch breaks. When I came to the chapters reflecting the time he was writing Flex Mentallo, I realized I had to take the bought-but-not-read-yet book off the shelf and read it right then and there. What a treat! I'm so glad I own this! An unexpected pleasure and footnote(!) to a remarkable treatise/autobiography on comics and a man who writes them. I would have never thought this would show up as BOTM, much less that it was already on my bookshelf. Thanks, Josh!
May 7, 2012 11:06 pm I find it fascinating this cartoon has been advancing Johns' story ideas at a pace that may soon revel future print-based story points as yet unrevealed.
May 1, 2012 1:21 am I thought the same thing. This timeline might just get reset with a few constants. Beast Boy and Blue Beetle, I'm looking at you.
