Pellet Reviews

Batman: Another great issue by Risso. Here’s a guy who knows how to layout a fight scene involving Bats. I don’t know where this story is going, but if Risso continue to do the art this well. I won’t care where it goes.

Kamandi: Lions with turrets! Love it!

Superman: So that last issue didn’t have a mistake. Superman knows what’s going on and he’s going to kick some alien ass!….next issue.

Deadman: Great art in this as the action is getting more heavy. Love it that Deadman is only doing this because the girl kissed him.

The Flash: Best strip of the week. Great parodies/homages to actual comic strips. If you a fan of Peanuts, Blondie, and the like. You’ll love this thing. Also….I think I saw a cameo buy a Marvel villain.

Green Lantern: This is the slowest strip of the bunch in terms of quality. Went from great, to bad, now it’s….readable.

Metamorpho: More of the periodic table! Yay! Plus Java singing about his predictament and the Spanish Metamorpho telling you to ‘Suck it!’….God I love this!

Teen Titan: I kinda got confused on what was going on.

Strange Adventures: I’m getting used to the art in this, sadly since we’re close to the end. But seeing Strange back into the fray is a good thing.

Supergirl: God those animals are adorable.

Metal Men: A little hokey in this strip but I can’t wait to see how the Metal Men save the day.

Wonder Woman: *wonders what Chuck Austen is doing right now*

Sgt. Rock: So he has the upper hand…..or not. If it wasn’t for the amazing art in this I would be so frustrated with the pace of this.

Demon and the Cat: What the hell is going on?

Hawkman: That last panel of Hawkman going after the T-Rex is an amazing shot.

Other then Lions on turrets nothing really worthwhile happened here. I just hope next issue the action really picks up for most of these. Plus it doesn’t feel rushed either.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 5 - Excellent
