After four years we finally get the finale of our generation! Well okay maybe not for our generation…but for the month of May!

I finally understand why this is called Wolverine VS Hulk. This has nothing to do with the two fighting psychically, but personality. Both characters are very similar to each other and Lindeloff wanted to tell a story about why Logan was jealous of Banner’s rage. If you got that from this comic like I did, then you probably enjoyed it. If not, well then sorry to say there is no last second epic battle in this. It’s basically all talking heads. Since I wasnt around to be involved with the lateness, I can still understand why people might absolutely hate this ending. ‘All this wait and we got this?’ I’m sure that’s the majority of what people think. But just like how ‘Ultimate Iron Man vs Hulk’ was (that was changed to Ultimate Human so not to piss people off of lack of fighting) nothing about the two fighting each other, that wasnt the point of this series either. I will say the ending in itself is a bit ‘meh’. We had five full issues of non-stop awesome and action. Here the ending is more like a Looney Tunes cartoon; where Bugs Bunny does seven minutes of hilarity and then a mild ending.

But that’s okay for me. Cause overall I really enjoyed this mini-series. The lateness should never be forgiven, but considering I never was apart of that lateness…I cant give Lindeloff too much shit for it. When this comes out in trade I will whole heartily recommend for everyone to buy. As the finale issue in itself: It was beautiful to look at, it was smartly written, but it did have a weak ending to to. Still it was a fun ride while it lasted.
