Okay, there are perfect relaunches, solid attempts, and out right failures. (hello Green Arrow!)Wonder Woman, Action, Green Lantern, JLA, Aquaman and Flash got it right. (Batman just rotated teams and really didn’t relaunch)

I was really hoping Hawkman would be up there, he’s a cool character. At least was when he was in the JSA and when Johns wrote his book. Daniel’s approach is to toss everything out (except for being an archeologist) and have his wings and armor be apart of his Hawkman’s body. This might work for some, but I felt this was done because people would think its cool. This could be something people like because they would think all that’s cool, but trying to be cool is different than being cool. This feels more like more of a mid level book than one of their top tier titles. But not an outright failure like GA and Hawk and Dove.

Not sticking with it. I’ll hopefully get my Hawkman fix when the JSA is relaunced.
