  1. Loved the movie discussion! And I’m glad you guys highlighted some of the comic movies that don’t get talked about a lot. Dredd was one of my favorite movies in 2012 and the Rocketeer was a mainstay in my childhood. Also loved American Splendor and Road to Perdition.

One non-superhero comic book movie I really enjoy watching is Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. I hadn’t seen an Edgar Wright movie before that and it really made me not only want to seek out the source material but also look for more Edgar Wright projects.

    Great show as usual, gentlemen.

  2. As far as the movie discussion, I have always loved The Crow with Brando Lee. Superman the Movie is my favorite comic book movie of all time. The 1st Blade was pretty good too! I am on the same page as Conor with Superman 3 and the fight between Clark and Evil Superman. I love that sequence and no one was a better Clark Kent (or Superman) than Christopher Reeve.

  3. The Brazil stuff on Batman is bizarre. Would it hurt the authors to google Brazil? Some of the portuguese lines are very very weird and all the names and terms are in spanish.

  4. Conor, I know were completely turned off by the last few pages of Original Sin #3 but did you read issue #4? I think the last couple pages might change your mind.Paul, what are your thoughts also?

  5. Wicked + Divine was amazing, easily my potw. IPA’s are amazing, as was the art on this Batman Eternal.

  6. Thor God of Thunder was my pick of the week. While on that subject look out for Ragnarock by IDW in July, written and drawn by Walt Simonson based on Thor from Norse mythology.

@BigAlWilliams I jumped on board with this issue of Original Sin. I was hoping things would get really weird because Uatu the Watcher’s book “What If…” had so many freaky scenarios in the ’90s. But for me Issue #4 of Original Sin isn’t as fun as “What If… The Marvel Super-Heroes Had Lost Atlantis Attacks,” or “What If… Wolverine Was Lord of the Vampires.” This mini-series is a lot more down to earth. I love the characters that Jason Aaron chose to group together, and I really liked the frenetic use of the color red that Mike Deodoato used in the fight between Gamora Vs The Winter Soldier, but I wish the character the Orb wasn’t the wackiest thing here. I haven’t made up my mind if I’ll read Issue #5.

I want to believe TMNT is a Daredevil spin-off.

  9. Turtles in Time sounds like it’s right up my alley. I’ll have to check out the trade when it comes out.
