  1. Really dug the 0 issue and cant wait for some high fantasy adventuring!

  2. Oh the D&D days back in the day, I remember my older bro had this super built-up character, and then one day he took on a God character or something, and the Dungeon Master rolled a 10, which was a ‘head cut-off’ roll, he was crushed and devastated, glad he wasn’t one of those peeps who actually committed suicide when their characters were killed in game-play.

  3. I don’t play the newest edition, but I still liked this book, I bet it’s even more fun for people playing the game. They very clearly want to evoke the fun parts of the game.

  4. Nice witty banter. The characters are fun, but really generic in their conception. Halfling thief, aloof elf, handsome human fighter… not an original thought in there. It moves along quick and is often quite funny, but the art is a bit boring. High fantasy needs lush art and this is not it. If you love D&D this will entertain, but it is not a must read by any stretch.
