This was a lot of fun. I was afraid they were going to take themselves too seriously like other D&D books I’ve read but I think they are saving the serious stuff for whatever Salvatore has got lined up. This was just good ol’ fun adventuring. The light tone really helps to remind me of just hanging out with friends playing a game. The art, on the other, while not bad really didn’t give us anything special. A book with Zombie Orphans should really give you a chance to be creative but it mostly felt by the numbers so far. Still, if you’re into the light fantasy, you should pick up this book.
