Last week, it was revealed as part of the X-Men: Regenesis teaser campaign that writer Rick Remender would be joined by artist Robbi Rodriguez on Uncanny X-Force #19. Now, those teasers didn’t feature the art of the actual artists on the books, rather a long pin up by Nick Bradshaw. its a cool image, but its tough to form an opinion until i see some actual interior art.
As far as i’m concerned, any Uncanny X Force art team that’s not Opena + White is pretty disappointing for me. I’m really not a fan of how short the runs for art teams are these days.

It’d take a really terrible artists for me to drop this book. The entirety of it has been something very special to me.

I’m in. The only art I wasn’t really feeling was Tan’s. Not terrible, but nowhere near able to follow Opena and Ribic. Brooks isn’t my favorite, but he’s damn good.
This looks awesome. Love the style and colors. Does this mean the ridiculous ban on Wolverine smoking has finally been lifted? I always thought it was so stupid, since he is the one character who could smoke with absolutely zero consequences.
I don’t care if they switch artists, as long as they switch between cool, risky artists like this one. Amazing.
They have been killing it with art on this book. Love it.
A bit different from what we’re used to. But I like it. The art hasn’t been on par with the story for a while on this one. Here’s hoping this is the neccessary shot in the arm.
