Comments

  1. Maybe Green Lantern #1? Wow, this is a really off week for me!

BQ: I hate the idea of melting and drowning together at once. Screw the Circle of Life, I WANT TO LIVE!!!!

  2. After last week, this pull list was bound to be disappointing. Looking forward to Batman Inc. and Avengers.

BQ: I’d rather melt than drown. The Philadelphia area has turned into a tropical climate.

  3. Thank god it’s such a light week after the last one.
    Avengers
    Batman Inc
    Catalyst Comix
    Green Arrow

  5. PRIVATE EYE #3
    SATELLITE SAM #1
    GREEN ARROW #22
    SUICIDE RISK #3

BQ: I live in the west and there’s lack of rain almost all year long which we need, so I have to say I hate the heat.

  6. Thank God for the occasional light week.

    Avengers
    Avengers A.I. (Doombot!)
    Ten Grand

B.Q. – Humidity. Hate the humidity.

  7. DAREDEVIL: DARK NIGHTS #2
    DETECTIVE COMICS #22
    EARTH 2 #14
    GREEN ARROW #22
    THE MOVEMENT #3
    WHAT IF…? AVX #1

BQ: Rain, although I live in England so it’s kind of a given.

  8. This week looks like the opposite of last. Just one book so far: Avengers.

  9. A managable week approaches!

    Batman Inc
    Green Arrow
    The Movement
    Stormwatch
    Avengers
    (private eye)

Might grab Thunderbolts and/or Pandora as well.

BQ: melting on the west coast with a summer cold. This sucks.

  10. Trinity of Sin: Phantom Stranger
    Trinity of Sin: Pandora
    Green Arrow
    Earth 2
    Detective Comics
    Batwing
    Batman Incorporated

Let’s get this Trinity War started!

BQ: Not a fan of the heat. I would love 60-70 degrees year ’round.

  11. I’m really happy to have a light week after that last one:

    47 RONIN #5
    ABE SAPIEN #4
    AVENGERS #15
    BATMAN INCORPORATED #12

    SATELLITE SAM #1
THE MICE TEMPLAR, VOL IV: LEGEND #4 (COVER A: OEMING)
    THE PRIVATE EYE #3
THE SUPERIOR FOES OF SPIDER-MAN #1

I’m looking forward to the conclusion of 47 Ronin the most, as well as Satellite Sam and The Private Eye.

BQ: I hate hot humid weather the most.

  12. Swampthing
    Batwing
    and Earth 2

    The incredible shrinking pull list

BQ: apocalyptic rain that causes flooding and sink holes.

  13. Big comics of the week. Earth 2, Swamp Thing, Dial H, X-Men Legacy and Avengers.

BQ: I hate dry cold and wind. The kind of wind that takes away your breath. It’s the worst.

  14. Bit of a small week Avengers, Abe Sapien & Batman Incorporated!

BQ- I like cold & wet!

  15. Avatar photo consafo80 (@consafo80) says:

After last months bumper haul quite pleased to have a light week.
    AVENGERS #15
    EARTH 2 #14
    GREEN ARROW #22
    TRINITY OF SIN: PANDORA #1

    and I may give AVENGERS A.I. #1 a go.

BQ: Weather that won’t make it’s bloody mind up.

  16. Action Comics 22
    Detective Comics 22
The Private Eye 3 (digital only)

    Matthew

  17. After last week’s onslaught, I’m glad it’s kind of a small week. Most interested in checking out Satellite Sam. I’m not the biggest Chaykin fan, but Fraction has been killing lately and the premise sounds promising.

  18. Earth 2 #14, Batman Inc. #12, The Movement #3, 47 Ronin #5, Catalyst Comix #1, Mister X:Eviction #3, The Private Eye #3 & Uber #3.

BQ: Hard winter rain with a biting wind that gnaws at one’s very soul.

  19. Like most others, I’m happy to have a light week. I’m looking forward to more great Swamp Thing from Charles Soule and another chapter in Abe Sapien’s solo adventures.

    Abe Sapien
    Earth2
    Daredevil: Dark Knights
    Private Eye
    Swamp Thing

BQ: I’ve always loathed the heat; I’ll gladly put on a jacket or layers to fight the cold, but when it’s hot you’re just fucking HOT!

  20. It’s a mercifully light week. I think the is the final issue of Parker’s She-Hulk. Sad times on the heels of Dark Avengers. On the upside, we’ve got his Batman ’66 to look forward too.

    BATMAN INCORPORATED #12
    EARTH 2 #14
    IRON MAN #12
    RED SHE-HULK #67
    THE PRIVATE EYE #3

BQ: I’ve lived in Georgia my entire life and the summers seem to get hotter, longer and more humid every year. I’ll never get used to it. Consequently, I love the winter!

  21. doesn’t bedlam #8 come out this week ?

  22. AVENGERS #15
    BATMAN INCORPORATED #12
    BATWING #22
    GREEN LANTERN #22
    POLARITY #4
    THE PRIVATE EYE #3
    THUNDERBOLTS #12

BQ: I hate the heat. It was 108 F here Saturday. That’s just too hot for humans. It’s forcing us to be nocturnal to escape it. Thank God we have air conditioning. And that I wasn’t a pioneer. Who did those poor bastards survive? Of course, 40 was old age then. I probably would have hand them just run over my head with the wagon wheel on the way here.

  23. For all the complaining of a heavy week last week I feel like I’m pulling much more books this week.

    BQ: Humidity. ugh

  24. Ten grand
    Earth 2
    Batman inc
    Avengers

Also going to give avengers a.i. A go seeing as its 2.99 and not double shipping (i hope)

  25. Not a single book this week. Whee!

Cold weather is the worst. I could live in 100 degree temperatures forever, but cold weather is death to the soul.

  26. Green Lantern
    Green Arrow
    Shadowman
    Daredevil Dark Nights
    and Venom

I live in Sacramento and cannot stand the heat…it sucks

  27. JML (@twitter.com/JoshMLabelle) says:

If I don’t count Adventure Time, which I buy for my girlfriend, I’ve only got one book coming out this week (Avengers). Hm. Maybe I’ll try Satellite Sam, which I’d planned to read in trades instead. Or maybe I’ll pick up the Captain Americas I’ve missed, since I dropped it and have now been kind of regretting it.

  28. BATMAN INCORPORATED #12
    GREEN ARROW #22
    EARTH 2 #14
    GREEN LANTERN #22
    DETECTIVE COMICS #22

BQ: I hate when it’s cold and pouring outside. Like NYC in February or March, it’s mid30s and pouring and windy. That sucks, pure misery.

  29. Getting Five Weapons, Satellite Sam, Suicide Risk, Iron Man and the Grendel Omnibus. Definitely excited!

BQ: I hate the heat nd humidity. I o back and forth between the outside temperature and th temperature in the refrigerated cooler I work in all night long and every time I go from the cold to the heat my glasses fog up. So irritating.

  30. Avengers
    Batman
    Dial H
    Ten Grand

(Good mix of titles there for a small week)

BQ: Snow. I can’t stand it anymore even though if I was 8 years old again I would want it so badly.

  31. It’s not a light week, but at least it’s an average one . . .

Definitely picking up Shadowman, Swamp Thing, Phantom Stranger, Dial H & Victories. May get Pandora or Waid’s Green Hornet. I’m in the process of filling in a couple of holes in my Batman Incorporated run, so I may wait a week on the new issue. Plus, I need to get a bunch of stuff still from last week, which I couldn’t afford then . . .

BQ: I hate the heat, really, really hate the heat — I’ll be so happy when summer’s over . . .

  32. It’s not the heat. It’s the humidity.

  33. I *still* haven’t finished reading last week’s books. Luckily this week is slightly less painful on the wallet.

    DAREDEVIL: DARK NIGHTS #2
    IRON MAN #12
THE TRANSFORMERS: ROBOTS IN DISGUISE #19
    WHAT IF…? AVX #1

As I mentioned on the individual book, I totally skipped the original series, but I’m picking up the What If? for AVX because you can be guaranteed there’ll be a body count.

  34. Batwing
    Daredevil Dark Knights
    Detective Comics
    Earth 2
    GI Joe Special Missions
    Trinity of Sin Pandora

BQ: Love the heat, never liked being cold. The key to dealing with hot weather is drinking lots and lots of water, a lot of people don’t do that I think.

  35. Earth 2 #14
    Avengers #15
    47 Ronin #5
    Daredevil: Dark Nights #2

BQ: There is something about rain that really pisses me off. And this year was especially bad.

  36. Earth-2
    Batman Inc
    Green Arrow
    A.I.
    Satellite Sam
    The Private Eye
    Ten Grand
    Venom
    Abe Sapien

Wolverine : Mark Millar Omnibus (Amazon pre-order) Good cover by Quesada
X-Factor: Hell on Earth tpb is a maybe cause I’d prefer to add an X-Factor story to my shelf in HC. Long underrated, sleeper, solid run. Last issues cover is a perfect bittersweet goodbye to Peter David’s X-Factor. Omnibus now!!!
Martian Manhunter New 52 figure sooner or later.

  37. BQ: I like all weather mostly but humidity to where you sweat and are sticky the min you even get in your car to start your day, just run somewhere, or outside for a min and your already sweaty. I doubt I’d enjoy Death Valley either.
