a solid week of Marvel for me. Really looking forward to Thunderbolts. And this is the make or break issue of Secret Warriors for me.
BQ…since I just had a glorious lunch at my favorite Mexican restaurant, where it hurts is my belly.
Light week for Me: Avengers, Amazing Spider-Man, Franken-Castle, and the super fun looking Sea Bear & Grizzly Shark!
BQ: I’ve been sleeping on a futon for the last week so my back and neck have seen better days.
Heavy week after last week’s light week.
American Vampire #4, Avengers #2, Return of Bruce Wayne #3, Green Lantern Corps #49, Incorruptible #7, Thunderbolts #2, Zatanna #2 and Power Girl #13. Power Girl great looking art but totally different shift of plot and tone? Hmmm…I do wonder what dirtiness Zatanna holds in store though.
BQ: I’ve been working out 5 days a week and everywhere hurts.

@StupendousMan…I started out really digging it but as time went by, it’s kind of lost me. I couldn’t care less about the Secret Warriors themselves and the whole Hydra thing is starting to remind me of Cobra-La. The art is fantastic, though.
Decent week for me. Very Bat-heavy. Looking forward to Return of BW and Weapon X the most.
BQ: Had hernia repair surgery a few weeks ago. I’m pretty much healed up but it’s not quite 100%. Though I’m rapidly approaching a time when I can no longer politely refuse to lift anything heavy. That’ll hurt more.
15 books. I might have to skip out on Detective and Superman.

Hoo boy, big awesome week for me. Avengers, Weapon X, Bruce Wayne, Frankencastle, Spidey, all kinds of other good books. Detective hasn’t been great lately but I do love to see Denny O’Neil back in the Batuniverse. I’ve also got the Adam Hughes hardcover and three Euro translations with 7 Psychopaths, Bullet In The Head and The Killer. Whew!
BQ: Here…and here…and here..oh, and over there….and there….
This is the lightest week in recent memory for me. Everything coming to me is aces, and I’m excited to be able to have fun without slogging through stuff.
BQ: Liver, of course.
The last Nova trade and the first G.I. Joe: Special Missions trade. I’m actually surprised not to see G.I. Joe: Special Mission not on Conor’s pull list. I want it because some of the plot line in the normal G.I. Joe comic around the time I read it branched into Special Missions, so it will be fun to read those.
American Vampire #4 is all for this week.
BQ: Our power just came back on after a 72 hour outage. After looking into my fridge, I’d say my bank account is about to start hurting real bad.
So pissed this week. (More so then usual)
Thought I was gonna get like, 7 books this week. Instead it’s only 3! Granted I knew Chew wasn’t gonna come out…..but still….it sucks.

A huge 14 book week, but lots of goodness. I’m thinking of letting go of all the GL titles except for GL proper because there’s just too much goodness. We’ll see if I’m man enough to do it this week.

Solid: Fantastic Four, Avengers, Thunderbolts
Dropping: ironically (Since FF is so solid because of Hickman): Secret Warriors-it just is not interesting or engrossing, I cant remember whats going on and never interested in whats happening next.
New: Namora – anything Namor-ish, I’m in – and kind of a crush 🙂

So my BQ answer would be my bank balance and also my upper back, which went into spasm getting out of the shower on Saturday!

Most excited for the next chapter of Second Coming. Odds are it’ll be my POW unless Avengers #2 is more badass than usual.
BQ: My hands. I killed my hands trying to take my pistol apart so I could clean it and failed miserably. Ultimately had a guy at a shop do it (hopefully I’ll be able to repeat the process) and took it to a friend’s place to clean. I think I did that right and put it back together correctly, but my hands fucking ache despite not actually firing the thing today. Pulling that slide back is a bitch.
