BQ: I remember I used to live near Philadelphia and papa johns would do a Monday special based on how well the Eagles did on Sunday. 1 free topping for ever touchdown and double that # if they win.
Well there was one game where the Eagles scored about 7 touchdowns and won, so naturally we ordered a pizza with every meat and most of the vegetables for the price of a plain cheese pizza. It was a good day.

Nine books. Pretty heavy week for me. I’m thinking of dropping Wolverine and the X-Men soon. I’m enjoying it, but probably not enjoying it enough to keep buying it twice a month. Plus, with All New and Uncanny being so good right now, I feel like I’m getting more than my X-Men fix elsewhere.

Another light week, though it seems that’s all I have these days. As a fan of Westerns, I’m always excited for All Star Western. The return of Booster Gold just puts the cherry on top of the sundae. Hopefully my back ordered copy of Black Beetle #3 should be in and I’m contemplating the Twelve HC at some point. For those who read The Twelve, did it end decently?

The Massive – last issue was a bit of a letdown mainly due to the art. Here’s hoping Brown is back.
Deathmatch — this is the sh*t. I love this book.
So, no Aquaman or Nowhere Men this week? Oh well, something to look forward to next week . . .

BQ: Curry, banana and peanuts is currently my go to topping after recently going vegetarian.
That sounds really good. Ever try plantains as opposed to banana?
To be honest I had never heard about plantain before you mentioned them.
They might actually be a nice substitute, since regular bananas have a tendency to be a bit sweet.
My Wife’s Filipino so I end up eating them at least once a week. They can still be pretty sweet but not like Bananas. Give it a try let me know what you think.
Looks like Aquaman ended up with no April issue but will have 2 in May, 1st and 22nd.
Looking forward to Batman Inc and Manhattan Projects the most.
