July 30, 2012 12:58 pm Snyder can do no wrong. I love how he is able to take a simple idea and make it seem fresh - whether it's a secret cult in the underbelly of Gotham, the Joker coming back, or Dracula. The next few months of books from him is going to be awesome.
July 24, 2012 4:40 pm I hear ya - it's tough to balance what you want in issue and what you want in trade. I just always fear the publisher saying there isn't enough issues sold and they end up cancelling it as is dictated by today's market. A fantastic book like this should not go on the chopping block.
July 24, 2012 4:01 pm 349 pulls is a crime, people. Give this book more love - still consistently one of my favorites. Glad that Snyder is still sticking with the book that brought him to the game.
July 18, 2012 1:27 pm Arkham Asylum and Arkham City would seem to disprove that theory in my opinion at least. Probably some of the best Batman stories told and it probably helped that Paul Dini was the one who wrote the scripts.
July 12, 2012 12:03 pm I'm happy for Royden. He announced the Rust movie on the podcast I did with him. He's very excited and I'm hoping this will mean more great things for him as he gets his comic sequels rolling out in the coming months.
July 3, 2012 12:08 pm Not a bad start, I might say. By the way - the artists for these books are confirmed: http://www.comicbookfury.com/marvel-now-brings-about-a-new-reboot-sort-of/

June 13, 2012 10:06 pm It says a lot when a book like this makes me jump in glee while reading this on the train ride home (I'm not kidding - I think I scared the person standing next to me when I jumped). There is so much to love about it. I love Snyder's long story arcs - it never drags and keeps you on edge. And Capullo is just killing it - even in the quite scenes. Best comic on the stands hand down.
June 7, 2012 9:09 am From a business perspective, it makes sense to me why Marvel is doing this. Still doesn't change the fact though that this Avengers show was stellar and will be missed.
