I’ve liked this series so far but not loved it, I think the reason for this is that deep down…

I’ve seen a few people say that this was a “pointless filler issue”, I personally felt that this issue was…

August 23, 2013 6:06 pm I gave this a 4 overall. This was my first issue of this series and I'll definitely be giving it a few more issues. Lucky for me I read Avengers first so Avengers Assemble actually made sense, I can see why this would make no sense if you read this first. In the future I'm not treating Avengers and New Avengers as tie-ins, I think they're going to be a pretty essential part of the infinity story, seems like reading them before any other non-Hickman tie ins is the way to go.
August 23, 2013 2:58 pm I've dropped JLA and JLD with their last part of trinity war anyway, ill maybe give this a try but whenever I try a Lemire book I tend to lose interest and I always have to re-read the previous issue before I read the new one. I think Lemire is a great writer but his books just aren't for me I guess.
August 22, 2013 7:33 pm Little late for me to be watching in the UK but I look forward to watching this tomorrow.Congrats good sirs!
August 21, 2013 9:00 pm John Stewart is probably my least favourite green lantern but if Idris Elba were playing him I'd be 100% fine with this.
August 21, 2013 8:57 pm Ive really enjoyed this event so far. Looking forward to justice league next week.
August 20, 2013 12:44 pm How has this been? I was going to start picking it up a couple of months ago until I saw that it was crossing over with captain marvel.
August 19, 2013 8:03 pm Yeah me too, I was only ever buying this for the two trinity war issues.
August 19, 2013 6:26 pm I'm loving this right now, For me Snyders superman actually sounds like superman should, he's intelligent (as shown in issue 2) and he actually cares about the people he's saving (issue 1). I've mentioned a bunch of times that I'm not a fan of Lobdells run so the fact that a huge superman fan like myself has this, batman/superman, adventures of superman and soon Pak's Action Comics is awesome.
August 19, 2013 6:18 pm BQ: the 94 spider-man cartoon was my go to. I don't remember when it came out but I also had about 4 episodes of Captain Planet on VHS that I must have watched at least 50 times.
August 17, 2013 4:42 pm After reading infinity #1 I was positive that it'd be my pick but this just beat it, what a fantastic run.
