March 16, 2012 7:21 pm Like that they're bringing the "Iron Spidey" suit to this show, but it was just a costume, not actual Iron Man armor for Spidey, i.e. there should be no repulsors AT ALL.
March 15, 2012 5:53 am @kingdomofevan Thank you. Especially that you would include page designers like myself in your explanation.
March 15, 2012 5:51 am @Conor maybe not "certified" but definitely a lot of us who are qualified, who actually go to school to learn the basics and ethics and morality of actual journalism and not (and this isn't a generalization of all (I must stress that)) the occasional big-mouthed idiot blogger who claims to be a journalist because they just got a Wordpress account. I went to school for 4 years to learn to be a journalist, even though I'm a designer and not a reporter so I do my thing visually as best I can, and I'm proud to say that I can call myself one.
March 14, 2012 6:09 pm I just wish there was a magazine out there that did what the late lamented Wizard (of old) did. I, as a graphic journalist, would jump at the chance to be a/the designer for it.
March 14, 2012 3:59 am For part 2 of your query, Rick shot Dave (he'll always be René to me though) in the head. Boom! Headshot! No reanimating from that. Also, I'm going to assume that, though that much was offscreen, Rick probably shot Fat Pisser in the head as a precaution after he killed him.
March 14, 2012 3:55 am io9 spoiled Shane's death in their Morning Spoilers (I know, my fault), so I knew it was coming, but I didn't know if it'd be this episode or the finale. Well, I DVR'ed it and had to go out of town for the last few days and didn't get to watch it, only for Bernthal to show up on Letterman and Dave spoiled it for me.
March 6, 2012 2:44 am Homie, calm down. You're one of those white guys that gets offended for black people, aren't you. Instantly adding "izzle" to anything means it has to be a black thing. God forbid it's wormed its way into the cultural zeitgeist enough that people can use it, despite their skin being white.
March 5, 2012 9:46 pm No! This is iFanboy. Rational thought is not allowed!
February 23, 2012 7:56 pm I think it was said best in an earlier comment reply when I say "show your work." Not all celebs are posers. I have a "cool story, bro" to go with my statement. Day after the Super Bowl, I'm in a shop. Not my LCS, but I show up there from time to time looking for something that I may have missed on Wednesday. While there, I run into Travie McCoy (of Gym Class Heroes fame). Turns out he's a big Hellboy/BPRD fan, and was in the shop looking for back issues to fill his collection. Being the only ones in there, I cautiously stepped his way and asked if he was, in fact, who I thought he was, and he was super cool and chill about it, even letting me get a photo. So no, not all geek celebs are posers.
February 17, 2012 6:56 pm Hank did use that excuse to most of the world, at the beginning, saying it was Criti Nol that struck Janet. He has since admitted he lied about that to (at least) those involved in the Initiative and the Academy. Although the majority of the super-hero community have known that he just used that as an excuse and are more or less wearing blinders. There are only a few that openly dispute his claim that don't know the truth..
