May 2, 2012 4:31 pm I also hope it continues. They'll keep it for one storyline at least. Now that the 52 are coming out in trades I am sort of shifting the way I collect to that format. I just find that for me keeping track of issues or loaning out stories is easier in trade form. They are also easier to keep and display on a shelf and feel nicer. I also can't really afford to get the trades and the original issues. I'll check out number 1 though!
May 2, 2012 2:25 pm Also, I don't see 'waiting for the trade' as an insult to the book. It just means I like getting the whole story at once instead of piecemeal.
May 2, 2012 2:24 pm This book is probably typical of a lot of Hugo and Nebula winning sci fi novels and short stories in that they tend to throw you into the deep end of the pool and things make more sense as you get 2 or 3 chapters in. I thnk that with Karen Berger as the editor though it should all make sense and turn out great in the end. I have read some of China's novels but I won't get this for a couple of hours. If it reads like you suggest, I may then wait for the trade.
April 28, 2012 12:03 pm Argh. The name of this season's show is Young Justice: Invasion. For that reason, my DVR didn't record it because it was set to record the show Young Justice. Now I have to wait until tomorrow and see the rerun.
January 20, 2012 9:57 am I actually thought that except for Diana's face and Hera, everyone looked very close to their appearance with Chiang. That said I love Chiang's work but I think Akins did very well.
January 13, 2012 10:29 am I wish that was the cover on my issue of Shade.
January 11, 2012 12:33 pm So GIJoe's are dolls but Green Lantern Action figures are toys? Hmmm.
December 14, 2011 9:50 am Green Arrow was never a communist. He was more of a Libertarian. He and Hawkman would get into it as Hawkman was more of an Authoritarian and GA thought he was a Fascist.
December 12, 2011 6:24 pm I want this as a poster and I want it now.
November 21, 2011 3:41 pm I think the one you're talking about is the interior title page. It does look fantastic.
