Maybe I’m bias because of my love for spy comics, movies and books, but I don’t think so. I think…

Disappointing. Not much else to say about it, but I’ll try. After hearing and reading interviews with Jeff Smith, I…

February 29, 2008 5:52 pm i almost forgot the whole reason i put this baby in my pile. the opening page. it reminded me so much of the opening of Condorman i didn't even flip further. just kept it in my pile and kept movin' on. i so want John Ramita Jr. to draw Condorman. how cool would that be?

@neb - i'm right there with you. i live in alaska and the closest thing to me is a 5 hour plane trip or a 4 day drive through canada. and i have no friends who read comics, except my oldest daughter, so we might go one day.

February 20, 2008 5:18 pm i got nothing realy agienst joe Q. i will say one more day made no sence and seemed genuinly awful, i won't be buyng spiderman but i wasn't before. the charactor was so far gone to me i just don't care. (it should be noted that spiderman got me reading comics in the first place but they have been too awful for too long.) but the dude does love comics and NOBODY should be personly attacked the way he has over the web. (o you faceless cowards.) if you don't like what he did you should say so and, dare i say it, not buy the comic!!! it is after all just a comic, and he is, after all, just a man. attack the choise, not the man.
February 19, 2008 5:30 pm @ nroa. i believe its the 'history of orson randall' and is both a stand alone and has ties into the story arc. but don't hold me to that.
February 19, 2008 5:26 pm @ torippu. its true that the trades for these kick @$$ but it needs the support of the monthly to keep going. its too bad that supperhero books (or any other kinds) get pulled far more than this.  its the perfect blend of story and art. i hope it never goes away.
February 19, 2008 5:19 pm my comic shop just leaves it to you to grab if you want. i've picked it up twice, once when i was new and didn't know, and last week when it had raven on the front. my daughters love the teen titans. it is truely a waist of our oxegen providing friends. in the debate over comics goinng digital, why in the hell is this still around. you said it ron, it's old news, even before it goes to press. i doubt even the non inerweb savey readers waist there time on this.
February 16, 2008 2:17 pm oh yeah. i'm getting nova, but if it doesn't start going somewere its gone.
February 16, 2008 2:03 pm this is truly a great book. Judd Winick is writing the hell out of it. this and immortal iron fist are the only two superhero comics i'm buying after a recent pull list revamp and i'm happy i stuck with it.

i LOVE hellboy. it got me through the horribile comics of the ninties. (the worse decade in comic history)  i'll buy whatever mingloa is selling and i'm never disapointed. i made these two movies a little event for me when they premiered on cartoon network. cleared the night, got some take out and made a night of it. i wasen't dissapointed. great job on the movie mr. Stones and great picks josh and conner.

p.s. has there been any discution on just a BPRD movie or better yet an animated series? (or live action) i realize the economics might not be there but they would make a great series. so much to work with.
