November 8, 2011 1:25 am Didn't really work for me- I nearly set the pages on fire- rubbing them together like a brand new stack of dollar bills- 3.99+tax to be exact- trying to figure out what I was missing as the story leapt all over the place. I'm holding out hope like @jonny, that this is all setup for something great.
May 15, 2010 11:53 pm Didn't like this very much, but i gave it some extra star power for Wolverine's big scene. I don't understand the reviews giving the art a 5 out of 5. Maybe the extra page count turned it into a rush job, because some of the characters looked positively inhuman at times. Open suggestion to edgy comic artists- enough with the shredding of clothing until characters are naked and we have to have 15 lame panels of posing them in ridiculous ways so we only see side ass.
February 5, 2010 3:12 pm I thought the spider banter in this book was some of the best Spiderman writing I've read in a long time. I'm pretty lost in terms continuity of Rogers and Bucky but I thought that was a well told action set piece. This book consistently hits the tone that makes comics fun to read (for me, anyway). Well done!
January 17, 2010 10:24 am After a 15 year break from comics, I started reading this title again a few months ago. I can accept all the changes made to Peter Parker, but thought the last several issues had been very ho-hum in terms of art and story. I was worried- ASM was the book that brought me to comics in the first place as a kid. This issue has reaffirmed my faith! Way to go Joe Kelly and all.
