June 28, 2009 2:21 am I can believe she drew that and yes good looking people can like comics too.

I agree with most of the review except I did not think she was "sexy".  Strong, yes.  Determined, yes. Heroic, yes.  Sexy, no.  Now she is batwoman, and if its meant to follow the mantle of batman, fear is what she would incite someone to feel, so sexy is not needed.  You want a hero to look "hawt" draw them hot.  You want them to look scary, draw them scary.

Batwoman = scary and NOT sexy.

June 25, 2009 2:36 am Just read it, like Nova, this is a great book.  I love how the story is broken up with post interviews on how things went down.  I enjoy how they don't take themselves too seriously without being completely cheezey.  War of Kings has been one of the better cross overs.
June 25, 2009 2:32 am Nova is just good ol' cosmic comic book fun.  I picked this up because I loved Geoff Jones' run on GL so far, and I wanted more cosmic goodness.  At the moment, I am liking Nova more then GL.  Nova is back and he has an army... me likes.

June 25, 2009 1:54 am Again, I ask, so what if our heroines are in poses that emphasize their beauty?  I don't see any pose in this issue different from a typical Superman pose "over-emphasizing" his build.
June 25, 2009 12:58 am I liked this issue as well but I would have to say I liked Dini on Sirens more just for the reason you mentioned.  Without the 52 context, its hard to buy in why Batwoman is so obsessed with some cult.
June 25, 2009 12:55 am I would have to agree the art style on this issue is better then Gotham City Sirens.  However, I like Dini's work on Sirens a bit more mainly because you do need to have some context (52) to really understand whats going on in this issue.
June 25, 2009 12:48 am @crazychris Women like staring at well figured women too, just like how guys like their superheros well built.  I dont understand why some guys cant get over a women being sexy and hero in comics.  Does a heroine have to look like a man to be a real hero?
June 25, 2009 12:40 am I agree I thought the dialog was great and did remind me of animated series of old.
