April 19, 2013 10:16 am Captain Marvel #12 by Joe Quinones: it's interesting to see how originally Captain Marvel's expression was different. http://www.splashpageart.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=25905&ArtistId=253&Details=1&From=Room It's a small thing, but I think that the published version works better. Great cover. Sadly I don't have the spare $1,200.00
April 18, 2013 4:58 pm Just a note to join the celebration for this book. I've been loving it since #1 and it's always one of my first reads when I open my monthly comics parcel.

April 12, 2013 2:08 am @farceur318 The kneepads are frankly hideous. Still the overall choreography of the cover is awesome. @KenOchalek Probably he is... oh... nevermind. #mustresistfartjokes
April 12, 2013 2:04 am I dropped Batman with #17 but I'm sticking with this. To each their own, I guess.
April 9, 2013 11:46 am Werewolf By Night (or "Licantropus", as it was dubbed in Italy) was a fave of mine when I was a kid. Mike Ploog's potent imagery had a powerful effect on my young mind and I've been loving the character ever since. A few years ago I even commissioned to the amazing Brian Hurtt a Werewolf By Night piece, which has been a constant source of joy for me ever since. http://thehurttlocker.blogspot.com/2009/09/jack-russell-terror.html (click on the image for full effect)
April 8, 2013 4:09 pm I was only buying indie back then. Only "Strangers in Paradise" for me.
April 4, 2013 4:06 pm I just read Uncanny's #4 preview - which has the recruiting scene from the other perspective - and man... for the first time in years I am happy of being robbed by Marvel of my hard earned money.
