January 9, 2012 3:17 pm There are plenty of things to be offended about in this image. 1) Does this image promote interspecies breeding? Note she has insect wings and he has goat horns. Unless they're Inhumans or marvel mutants, these might be two different species of humanoid. 2) Also, as an insecto-sapien, is her breast milk safe for that baby? Other images show it with little horns (I hope the baby was c-section. More offensive imagery!), so it clearly takes after daddy. That breast milk may have insect-only enzymes. Maybe it has a silk component that is a choking hazard for babies who don't have the capacity to regurgitate it into a pupa.
December 6, 2011 6:45 pm I vote Abnett and Lanning with art by Stuart Immonen.
December 6, 2011 2:37 pm Also, I sincerely hope this story has one moment where Cap's shield throwing goes up against Cyclops's oft forgotten unerring geometry sense.
December 5, 2011 12:06 pm I would add Leave it to Chance. A great book for younger readers.
October 24, 2011 6:12 pm Poor Blink has been gone so long, she didn't realize she'd grown out of her shirt. Hopefully this story is about her going to buy a shirt that fits before all those buttons or clasps or whatever break while she's striking one of those dynamic throwing things poses.
October 18, 2011 11:01 am Two points: 1) I dig the little touches, like the Roxxon Gas being pumped at that station. 2) The song there was an original composition called "Marvel Swing." Can we make that the official Marvel Universe song? It'd go great with those Phil Noto period photos from Hank Pym's collection.

July 14, 2011 3:51 pm I have high hopes for this.  I am a huge fan of Burroughs's Barsoom stories. In fact, I am a fan of the Burroughs-verse as possibly the best action-adventure setting of the 20th century. John Carter stories influenced everything from Star Wars to Superman.

Seriously, a man from Earth goes to a strange and distant planet, where the unique features of that planet grant him super strength and the ability to leap tall buildings in a single bound.  Then he goes to live in one of the great cities on that planet; a city named Helium.
June 13, 2011 7:01 pm For now, I may buy it, but here are the things giving me pause:

1) I am still not entirely certain Joe Mad can meet any kind of regular deadline.
2) I thought the whole purpose of Amazing's Brand New Day publishing schedule (somewhat held over in Big Time) was that there were no other Spider-titles in main continuity.  Amazing would come out two or three times a month and tell a continuous story instead of us getting Spectacular, Amazing, Adjectiveless Web of, and Sensational or whatever they were putting out at the time.

There are a couple more, but they are not related to comics, so I'll leave them out of this forum.  I may wait for some buzz and then buy a couple of back issues if I decide to get on the train.
