August 12, 2009 12:41 am Hopefully this starts a trend for comics to tv. If Y: The Last Man or Preacher are going to go live action they would be suited better in a one hour long running TV series then crammed into a couple of two hour movies. Watchmen would have worked better this way(not saying the movie is bad) who won't love a Christopher Nolan produced HBO Batman series or a minute Spider-man show on a major network. Just think of the Gwen Stacy story told over 22 shows and what a season finale that would make...

Ron picking an X-Men book makes me feel that all is right with the world.

Just like Josh, I have no interest in this book or the X-Men, but goddamn I can't wait to hear Ron talk about this on the podcast. Please, I don't care if it takes up half the show, do a Ron vs X-Men Forever style review on Sunday.

July 13, 2009 5:51 pm 24 issues. I read the book after seeing blade runner in hopes of making sense of all years ago. It didn't help. However I remember it being very different. I may pick this up but 24 x 3.99 = but it in trade for a lot less.
May 7, 2009 12:55 am I'm with Conor on this one.  Gonna give it a few more issues.

Welcome back Barry Allen!  This was as good as any single issue I have read in a long time.

@edward I have a friend that made a series of bad choices and spent 3 years in prison.  When he got out last summer he couldn't believe how much had changed and he felt very out of step with technology, social trends and pop culture.  That was "only" 3 years.  I totallt thought that was spot on.

 Next up: Aquaman: Rebrith!

March 29, 2009 1:19 pm What is your writting process? How many hours do you write a day? How far do you map out a storyline?
March 25, 2009 12:05 pm Wow, first read out of my stack this week.  Gonna be tough to beat for POW.

I too have had this conversation with a few friends recently.  I thnk Y: The Last Man may be the best comic crack there is.  I just handed out the first two trades of Criminal to a friend.  Spider-Man Blue was a huge hit with another friends.

Sadly I was shocked that New Frontier was a bit of a dub with the same friend.  Too old fashion I guess.

I think Identiy Crisis is another good "He is a super hero book"

For the record, Spider-Man: Blue is flipping great.  I got a little misty at the end....

March 5, 2009 1:40 am Is it possible that the Superman books are the best thing going in comics right now?  I think so.  My POW as well.

POW!  I loved this.  The Red Lantern Kitty Kat is back!(Very small, in the background)  We all talk about how great Geoff Johns is, but Ivan Ries is just as great as Johns and the reason that this is my favotie book going.

Does anyone else want to see G'Nort and Red Lantern Kitty face off...?
