Damian’s confrontation with Talia was a little meh, but I like where this is going.

Wow … I don’t usually get weepy at the end of a comic book … but DAMN!

February 5, 2012 5:28 pm It still blows my mind that so few are pulling this book. It has been an awesome story with wonderful artwork. Possibly my favorite book every month.
February 5, 2012 3:46 pm I thought Havok was added to the X-Factor line up this month.
February 5, 2012 3:45 pm You might consider a pull list on DCBS. The cost is far less than a direct subscription and the books actually arrive in good condition.
February 5, 2012 3:39 pm Really love what Hickman is doing with both books, and I can't wait to see where he's taking Franklin. But the artwork in this is abysmal. I think every artist deserves a fair shake, but Marvel should know better than to ruin a resurgent FF franchise with this kind of crap. Sorry ... I'm sure I'll offend someone by calling it crap, but that's how I feel about it. I don't know in what kind of story this artwork belongs, but it just doesn't fit the tone of this book, IMO.
February 5, 2012 3:21 pm I think it would be cool if they would hold off and collect this with the upcoming Exile in one volume.
February 5, 2012 3:20 pm I agree that the pace of events felt a bit like it was in fast forward this issue, but i wasn't difficult to follow at all. The downside for me with this mini (if there is one) is that I've been trying to wean myself of excess books and only buy the ones I REALLY enjoy ... now I'm on the hook for Exile after this mini concludes. ;P I haven't read all the old school Apes books, but I like how this mini (and Boom!'s main ongoing) dives right into the continuity of the films and builds a new, compelling, engaging narrative. This is one of my favorite books right now.
January 29, 2012 8:54 pm I guess zombie war stories are not for me. I remember the earlier issues, but this just isn't jelling. i hope they bring it together in issue #4.
January 14, 2012 1:07 am Yeah ... the story remains awesome, but the artwork stinks. If it ain't broke, Marvel, don't try to fix it ...
