  1. I’m really torn on this. I’m not sure I want to keep buying this with the so-so Bobillo art.

  2. I’m willing to give this artist a chance. I really enjoy what Hickman is doing with these characters.

  3. i don’t dig Bibillo but story>art for me.

  4. I loathe the art…had to drop it. I’ll have to make due with just Fantastic Four.

  5. The art is fine for the “kids” story. It sorta fits. This part of FF is so tied into the rest of Fantastic Four super-awesomeness that I am in for now. Long term I don’t think I need a FF-junior book, but for now I am committed.

  6. It’s the inconsistency of the character’s look that gives me issues. The particular style isn’t bad. It’s just that I have hard time telling who is who outside of Valeria (of the humans that is). Also the design on the “alien”-like children is a jarring to me, ie: Leech, Dragon man, etc.

  7. Someone on a CBR board said they read advanced copies and to read FF 14 before Fantastic Four 602 (if you are buying both).

    • Hickman tweeted this, so I guess ignore that previous one:

“The books normally don’t come out at the same time, so it’s usually not a problem — BUT, always read F4 before FF in the same month.”

  8. Bobillo is off after this arc, to be replaced by nick dragotta.

  9. I love the art.

  10. I think I have had my fill of quippy little brats now.

  11. Awesome issue! I actually kinda dig the art.

  12. I loved this issue. Ticking clocks are the best in comics.

  13. Really love what Hickman is doing with both books, and I can’t wait to see where he’s taking Franklin. But the artwork in this is abysmal. I think every artist deserves a fair shake, but Marvel should know better than to ruin a resurgent FF franchise with this kind of crap. Sorry … I’m sure I’ll offend someone by calling it crap, but that’s how I feel about it. I don’t know in what kind of story this artwork belongs, but it just doesn’t fit the tone of this book, IMO.
