April 11, 2012 2:04 pm Make sure you check out the Terra trade as well. It's actually a precursor to the PG series with the same creative team and equally as good.
April 11, 2012 11:17 am Post-Infinite Crisis Kara is probably my favorite DC hero. At a time when Superman was lacking the fun, she filled the Kryptonian void nicely. Written by Johns in JSA, then the Palmiotti/Gray/Conner combo, followed by Winick. That stuff is gold to me. Very excited for World's Finest.
April 4, 2012 11:15 pm 'Tale of Sand' arrived on my doorstep today. I'm very excited!
April 4, 2012 10:56 pm This was the first Avengers and/or X-men book I've bought since the 90's... It was cool... I'm sticking with it. That says something.
March 21, 2012 11:09 am Hmmmmm.., Batman Reborn over The Black Mirror??? In my opinion Snyder gave us the definitive Grayson as Batman story, and one of the best Batman stories, period. I do like the stuff with Damian in Reborn. So if there is ever a "Where Do I Start: Damien Wayne" than Reborn belongs on that. But Black Mirror is definitely more of a (and better) Dick Grayson story.
March 19, 2012 12:04 pm With Michonne finally arriving gotta think that it won't take long for T-Dog to finally bite the big one. Pretty sure the only reason he's stuck around so long was to diversify the cast. But seriously, they really ramped up the second half of the season. Hope they keep the momentum for next season.

February 17, 2012 12:47 pm I agree with a bit of har13quin and maxpower above. I too don't think anyone should be judged on the single worst action/moment of their life. But it's something they must live with and except the label for the rest of their life. The "forgive, but never forget" theory. But seriously... that only pertains to real people. This guy is a fictional comic book character. We can and should be able to judge him for those actions until the end of time.

February 13, 2012 12:47 pm As excited I am about the Earth 2 books, I do think it's a bit early to introduce the multiverse. It would have been nice to give the main earth "whichever one we're currently on" room to breathe and establish itself. But I think the notion that another Earth will confuse a new reader is a myth. The idea of a parallel universe is more a common part of pop culture than comic books are. Parallel universes are used in drama fiction to tell stories as well; we all at least know the story behind "it's A Wondetfull Life" even if we haven't seen the movie. And the device of waking up in a parallel world where you have to adapt to a new set of rules and history is pretty much the base for every episode of The Twillight Zone ever. So if a new reader seems to be struggling with the idea of a parallel Earth, then maybe you just need to take the books away from them and say, "we'll then comic books probably aren't going to be your sorta thing."
