June 14, 2011 1:22 pm Joe Mad is one of those artists that can spend as much time inbetween issues as he likes. ya the ultimates was crap writing and took too long to come out but i have all those issues to visually enjoy for forever. I remember when i was still in jr high/high school before i was really INTO comics i was buying Battle Chasers and nothing else. His art is THAT special to me

@nudebuddha - just adding to what you closed your first post with. The combination of genes does have a big effect on how you (or any living thing) comes out. i was watching a show that was talking about genetic experiments with food. They were talking about the dangers because they could change the genetic makeup to make crops grow faster but there could be numerous negative and unforseen changes in the end product.

I'm going to do my best to compose myself....I Hate The Sentry{cough cough couch} i'm so sorry. i don't know what just came over me....{deep breath} i've gone from passively disliking the sentry (he's either crying or he's fixing every problem involving the dark avengers) to actively hating him after this issue(now he's just some stupid overly powered animal on a leash). {cue dark brooding voice} he needs to die in a Very Very bad way. Preferrably by a warhammer to the face and hopefully followed by some gloating that would probably go something like: "Thou Art Dead You Overly Powered Nancy"

i suppose it's a good issue, for it to elicit such and emotional response out of me but i'm not happy about it.

November 20, 2009 2:35 pm @Slockhart - Really? I'm so confused by the mixed opinions on this book. I gave it a 5. The art was great and i loved the setup for what the rest of the arc is going to be. So excited!!! When i was reading this i thought it was going to be a (mostly) rave book. Guess I was wrong.....

September 25, 2009 6:18 am both cliff hanger at the end of last issue and the cliff hanger at the end of this issue left me dying for the next. THIS IS SO GOOD!!!
