January 21, 2013 3:50 pm 1. Uncanny Avengers #3 2. Uncanny X-Force #1 3. Wolverine and the X-Men #24 (picking that one up digitally) BQ: Firefly. Bring back some of the surviving characters, restart the original premise of Western In Space. Start with a sub-set of Mal, Zoe, Kaylee, and Jayne (maybe 2 or 3 of them), and a few new characters as new crew/passengers. Leave Simon, River, and Inara out of the show, but maybe have them guest star periodically.

Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi 7: Prisoner of Bogan 2 7. Thor: God of Thunder 3 8. Omnibus: Star Wars: Clone Wars Vol 3 (not on the list, but it is shipping) I'm dropping Avengers. I picked up issue 1, and I liked it enough, but not $8 per month worth. Might check out the trade, or try digitally when the Comixology prices drop. BQ: Spending time with my wife's family, and seeing my 3-year-old niece and nephew on Christmas eve.

They tried putting too many details in too short a story. That may have worked in the Silver Age when there was a lot of text-based exposition, but now it just appears too quick. BQ: Last week a bottle of Sprite I bought that morning at work's cafeteria had apparently gotten shaken up. I opened it and it sprayed all over my desk, thankfully missing my documents and keyboard. Tried cleaning it; still a bit sticky.

November 21, 2012 12:50 pm It becomes a little easier with digital comics. I will pre-load a bunch of digital comics onto my iPod Touch's Comixology app before going home for Christmas. That way I'll have something to read, but it looks like I'm just surfing the web or playing a game. Also, if you aren't listening to Ryan's podcast, "Science...sort of", you should! It's so good!
