December 30, 2019 7:01 am The Sith in the stands were ghosts weren't they? I thought they were the spirits of the old Sith.

January 8, 2018 10:17 pm Conor didn't mention this but I thought they said they were only sticking with the Netflix shows through the Defenders release.

Pick of the Week #485 – Rebels #2
May 19, 2015 12:50 am Don't know if anyone cares but I find this list interesting: http://www.marvelmasterworks.com/resources/kirby_chronology.html.
It breaks down Kirby's Marvel work month by month and totals up the number of pages. It looks like his highest month was in September of 1947 when Kirby produced 152 pages.

Special Edition – Guardians of the Galaxy
August 4, 2014 10:25 pm Did Ron say the songs on the Mix Tape were obscure? I really don't think that is right at all, I feel like I have know all the songs on there forever and if you go on Wikipedia I think all but 2 were in the US Billboard top #5 hits during the 70s. So I think it is complete believable his mom would have known and liked all those songs.

iFanboy Update: After 13 Years It’s Finally Time To Scale Back
September 2, 2013 3:56 pm I am bummed out but totally understand I have no idea how I would find time to run a site like this, I am happy the podcast will continue and I hope its not too much work to keep it running for a little while longer.
In totally unrelated and longshot of a question is there anyone who knows where I might be able to still download the old Murmur podcasts? They are still listed on itunes and rss feeds but I can't get any episodes to download. I would guess they are long gone but if you happen to know where I could download them or if someone kept the files on their hard drive and would let me work something out with them that would be awesome, if not no worries just thought I'd ask.

Ben Affleck is Batman in ‘Man of Steel’ Sequel
August 26, 2013 5:36 pm Yeah I think it's pretty safe to assume Affleck was in talks with WB for a while, from what I've read even though they are just rumors Nolan really pushed for Affleck to direct JL because he felt Affleck was a strong enough director that he wouldn't have to be very involved in the production of JL and could move on to other projects. When WB first offered Affleck JL they wanted Bale to come back and offered him 50mill but like Conor said Affleck doesn't want to at this point direct a movie unless he is acting in it so Affleck declined but Bale didn't want to play Batman unless Nolan was direct so he declined. My guess would be at that point WB started to work the Batman role so that Affleck could play him and would direct JL. Now this is all rumor but it does kinda match up with the info Conor has so I think something kinda like that happened.

Comics Are Nice!
August 26, 2013 5:03 pm @IthoSapien I recently reread JL too and I am with you I found that reading JL this time without having high expectations I really enjoyed it, it wasn't the greatest thing ever but still good. And I also agree with your statement that it was "Almost like Johns was trying to lay the groundwork for a JL screenplay for the future" while reading that first arc I kept thinking we were reading Johns' pitch to WB for how he saw the JL movie going.
