My mother is awesome, but for some reason she’d never buy me comics as a child. As a teenager I’d poke my head into comic book shops but always found them confusing, scary places and was never sure what to buy. But then I went to University – and got a student loan – and I finally took the plunge. I’ve been addicted ever since. I am currently unemployed but have been a successful comedy club promoter. I have done interviews with British stand-up comedians as well as short films and comedy sketches which can be found on www.youtube.com/imjackcooper. I write a blog that’s mainly about television and comic books at www.bah-blah-blog.blogspot.com . I reside in Wales (UK) but will soon be moving to Toronto (Canada)

I agree with you about GL but also feel that the Batbooks are also a case of
"if it ain't broke, don't fix it" too. I read somewhere reliable (but I'm too lazy to dig out the source) that the Batbooks are the biggest selling DC books. As I've said, whilst browsing forums it seems the vast majority of people want to keep Dick and Damian. I don't see why Morrison can't write Inc and Superman at the same time (I'm a huge fan of All-Star, so it's great news Morrison will be in charge of Superman)

As for the current runs Superman, Wonder Woman, Teen Titans etc... I think a reboot is exactly what those books need.

The overwhelming consensus on the internet (apart from a few rebels who weren’t buying the books anyway) seems the be – don’t fuck with the Batman continuity. Hopefully DC have picked up on this. We want Dick as Batman. We want Damian. And a lot of us want Morrison to be allowed to finish his run how he intended.  And Synder / Jock need to stay on Detective.

I have no problem with a reboot – as long as the current story is finished. Inc has only got started. I imagine  Morrison doesn’t want to write Batman forever... so let him finish and THEN reboot if you must... but not halfway through!

Then again - how the hell did that guy find those videos? Could Nolan (or the viral marketing team) be using footage they haven't actually recorded themselves? Very odd.

June 5, 2011 7:43 am Well I came on here to rip into all the people claiming it's fake, but then I logged on to that Facebook link and found this comment posted at the top -

The Outbreak video uses this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VsQaVGXYrY&feature=related and also uses a scene from the movie Bronson (bald guy standing behind prison bars which is played by Tom Hardy. Also noted the Mike Engel videos that were used in the last ARG for the current "Arkham Outbreak" videos.

Okay So i got proof that this isn't apart of the TDKR. Lets go back to the Outbreak video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKEV8XEZ5yI @56 secs you hear a guy saying we are paying these people to do this.

Now watch this video http://www....youtube.com/watch?v=faVI8l40vhY go to 1:06 and you will hear the same thing.

Lets please move on from these videos

Those videos linked to this site. I was one of the first people to link this and the same person is running both of em. Because the link is in one of the videos
June 1, 2011 3:09 pm Bruce and Batman sound exactly the same :s

Haha... gives gravitas to Bale's silly growl though.
June 1, 2011 3:04 pm So far it's fairly enjoyable, but then again there's always some enterainment to be had seeing alternative versions of our favourite heroes. I loved the panel of the Eifle Tower floating on top of the water.
June 1, 2011 2:41 pm I can't quite predict what form The Joker will take in Synder's Batman world... but I know that I'm extremely excited about it. Cracking cover, obviously.
