June 13, 2012 9:46 pm It's not a bad idea. When MOTP came out the Pixar movies were in their infancy. They could do an animated justice league and it could possibly do well. Toy Story 3 made a pile of cash just 2 years ago. It also was not just for kids and dealt with mature themes. Right now, I think I might be more optimistic about an animated JLA movie then a live action one.
June 12, 2012 10:20 pm Just watched it. Not that crazy about it. I find more and more that I like Superman better in Justice League features or Superman/Batman, as part of the team, then when he is on his own. His single features have been my least favorite of the DC Animated movies. However, the sneak peek at the Dark Knight Returns Part 1 has me very excited for that movie. Cannot wait until that comes out in the Fall.
June 5, 2012 10:19 pm Smasher. Read "Tales from Development Hell: The Greatest Movies Never Made" by David Hughes. It lays out the whole show biz process. You read it and end up wondering how any good movies get made.

May 20, 2012 9:00 pm Good call. I kept waiting for him to use the wave motion gun.
May 20, 2012 4:11 pm Easy now. Johns' Justice League is starting to really get good. If you dropped it, you should think about picking it back up. In addition, I did not think his first arc was that bad. In issues 1-6, he essentially gave us what Whedon gave us with the Avengers movie. Despite that fact, everyone seems to hate Johns' Justice League but loves the Avengers. I enjoyed them both. In regard to this week's Young Justice, I liked it but not as much as the previous episodes this season.
May 16, 2012 10:30 pm Never was much of a fan of Jason Todd as Robin. The only story I liked him in was Batman: The Cult. However, I did like Under the Red Hood in both comic and cartoon form.
May 12, 2012 11:17 pm Just watched the last part of the show again. I think Nightwing might be in on the Aqualad deep cover assignment too. When AL is escaping NW comes out of the shadows and starts to say something. AL turns to him and says "just you and I, old friend" as if to ck and see if they are alone. Superboy comes barging in and that's when AL makes a pt of telling them about the bomb - so he can escape but it seems clear he is warning them as well. I really hope there is more to this plot line them AL pretending as if he has turned to the dark side just so they can get someone on the inside of The Light.
May 12, 2012 5:03 pm I hope I'm wrong too. That particular plot line has been done to death on a lot of animated and live action shows.
