RECAP: ‘The Walking Dead’ – S02E07 – “Pretty Much Dead Already”
November 28, 2011 11:14 am One thing I'll say is that all of the deviations from the comic have been excellent. So far, this is a perfect adaptation of a work from another medium.

RECAP: ‘The Walking Dead’ – S02E07 – “Pretty Much Dead Already”
November 28, 2011 11:12 am Huh? Isn't this a guy who considered shooting his best friend?
It seems Shane thinks everyone is expendable but Lori and Carl. Indeed, I wonder if Shane probably doesn't just wish everyone else was gone and that it was just him, Lori, and Carl.

RECAP: ‘The Walking Dead’ – S02E07 – “Pretty Much Dead Already”
November 28, 2011 11:09 am It seems the focal point of the tension is Dale's jealousy at what might be going on between Shane and Andrea. Being predisposed to dislike Shane, it's not hard to distrust him either. It's not like Shane's playing Mr. Nice Guy.

Second Coming: The DC Relaunch and the Comics of the Next Century
August 29, 2011 2:26 pm When I got back into comics, I was all Vertigo. I soon discovered other books by all the smaller publishers, but try as I might, superhero stories could hold no interest for me. But with DC's new initiative, I'm in, at least in the beginning.
I want this to succeed, and I don't even read most of these titles (yet). If only because comics need to do something to shake things up, and I want a risky gamble like this to pay off.
