I dropped the Avengers titles a couple of years ago because I felt the stories were getting stale.  Bendis is…

July 12, 2011 11:20 am This is the one I will miss the most after the re-boot as well.  For some reason, since I was a kid and would see the Red Robin character in all the old Earth 2 stories, I thought the costme looked really cool and wanted to see more of the Red Robin character.  While this isn't the same Earth 2character, it was cool to see Tim take on the mantle in his own series and the stories and art have been the most consistently enetrtaining and reliable for the last two years.  This is the only title (DC or Marvel) of which I haven't missed an issue.  Love Marcus To's work.  I have not seen his name associated with any of the re-boots.  What a missed opportunity by DC.  I'm scratching my head on some of their creative team decisions.
July 11, 2011 10:06 pm I'm pretty sure the cover pictured here is the variant.  I have enjoyed War of the Green Lanterns storyline and I'm curious what historical events in the GL universe will actually stay (Sinestro Corps War, Blackest Night, Brightest Day, etc..) with the reboot.
July 11, 2011 9:50 pm I give credit to any artist who can pencil a comic page and get paid for doing something they love.  Tocchini has some talent and a style all his own which is probably better suited for a different type of story like Last Days of American Crime.  However, I didn't feel his style worked with Batman and Robin and doesn't look like it is going to fit with FF.  I'm leaving this one on the rack this month.  I have had no problem with Hickman's storyline thus far but I am getting tired of the constant artist rotation.

July 5, 2011 8:29 pm @AmirCat - I picked up Batman Knight of Vengeance because of Azarillo and Risso but the first issue didn't seem to go anywhere.  I am picking up issue 2 to see if it picks up.  So far only the Project Superman tie-in really grabbed my attention.
July 5, 2011 5:21 pm I miss Kev Walker on any issue but I hope this story gets back on track.  The anthology issue seemed to bring the storyline to a crushing halt.
July 5, 2011 5:13 pm The cover scores the pull!  But am I the only one who has found this storyline a little boring?  I love Medina's art but this story would have been told in two issues in the old days and been a lot more exciting.
July 5, 2011 3:12 pm I am probably only buying this tie-in series because of Azarello and Risso but I sure hope things pick up in this issue.
July 5, 2011 3:09 pm This series has been entertaining so far, even if the tie-ins haven't been able to match that same sense of fun.
