July 2, 2013 11:15 pm This is interesting. I just clicked on Ron's name, because I was curious when the last time he posted before this article. The odd thing is that he came up as "invalid user". Of all the users on this site, how can Ron be invalid. I wonder if this was a bug that popped up when (I'm assuming here) he gave up admin rights.

May 20, 2013 9:42 pm I think NYC mech was the first Image book I bought. This was when I was first getting into comics as an adult, and didn't have much of a pull list at all. I don't remember much about it, except I only made it 3 issues in, so I'm guessing I didn't love it. Oh, well, live and learn.

May 10, 2013 4:08 pm I notice a lot of the DC charcters are pre New 52, I wonder how long Dean has been working on this. It is really cool though.

April 17, 2013 10:54 pm Sounds interesting. I'm about the same age as @jaflanagan, male, and have to admit I've been enjoying the TV show Suburgetory. I'm sure I'm not in the designed demo. for this show, but the writing and acting is smart and good, and the story is just catchy enough. Sort of like, Batgirl was under Bryan Q. Miller (minus the whole crime fighter thing). I bring this up, since it sounds like this book could scratch a similar itch, even though, once again it wasn't necessarily written for middle age men. I may have to give this a try after I finish Vol 1 of the giant Fear Agent, something I probably am in the demographic for. Thanks for bringing this up Josh.

April 16, 2013 11:04 pm @Drewbacca. I'm not convinced that Snyder would not have wanted to see his name up there for Writer, or one of his books in there respective catagories, but that being said. I compleatly agree that we should keep showing him the love on this site, both in our comments in this and other articles, and in adding his books to our pull lists. I also think its pretty hard to justify him not getting nominated this year "because it wasn't as good as his 2011 writing" when he was snubbed in 2011 as well. Let's face it, he should have been nominated both years. And while I think this years list of writers is very good, I would have absolutely no problem replacing anyone on that list with his name.

April 16, 2013 10:41 pm @ABirdseyesView. But she would qualify for the next two catagories, digital interior artist, and cover artist, and was not nominated in either. It's close too a toss up for me, but I think I'm more disappointed about the covers, then the digital artist. I honestly feal that her 8 or 9 covers that were published for Saa in 2012 are consistently better then any other ongoing series. On a bit of a side note, I had mentioned on the sie before that I also felt she should have made the short list as a Hugo artist this year. Sadly I was not able to convince enough other eliable voters, and she did not make the list. Although the first trade for Saga did make the list for graphic novel, something I thought was a lock, but glad to see anyway. I'm really curious too see the final numbers after the final voting/ awards are given out, to see how close she was to making the short list.

March 24, 2013 1:11 pm @JSAkid thanks for the offer of help, I may PM you since this was two days ago. Overall I think my biggest problem is that it is a first gen iPad, and is a little lower in ram then the newer models. The site will occasionally crash the browsers (I've tried a few), but that wasn't what I was referring to. What happened was I had gone to write the comment, but as I was typing the page reloaded, making the on screen keyboard disappear, and in trying to bring it back up, the comment got posted before I was finished. The relaunching of the page, happens quite often on the website, it seams to have something with the page grabbing info from other places on the web, either the add server, or the twitter feed. Oh, and I agree completely with your take on Saga. Both BKV and Fiona, have done an awesome job of making an alien story very human.
