January 11, 2013 12:09 pm Oh wow, that whole episode looks like a reaction image goldmine.
December 3, 2012 5:19 pm That's pretty sad to hear, right now Vertigo seems to be in this weird phase. But good thing we have Image comics picking up the slack in creator owned material, they are pretty much putting out superior content at this point.
November 19, 2012 10:40 pm Yeah man, I still can't believe Bruce Willis was dead all along.
October 23, 2012 1:02 am The first thing that came to my mind when seeing that was: LEROY JENKINS.
October 18, 2012 1:30 pm New Avengers Vol 1 #22 deserves shout out, it was a Civil War tie-in issue by Bendis and Leinil Yu and it was a defining moment for Luke Cage making a stand. http://i.imgur.com/19RMo.jpg
October 16, 2012 12:07 am You cannot stop this behemoth, 10.9 million in the ratings. http://blogs.ajc.com/radio-tv-talk/2012/10/15/amcs-the-walking-dead-debut-opens-season-3-with-record-10-9-million-viewers/ And that was without any DISH satellite viewers, holy crap.
October 9, 2012 2:17 pm I'm not jumping into the ComiXology bandwagon because of DRM, it's ridiculous. Would you buy a MP3 album today that had DRM on it that would restrict listening on just X device and also be constantly online to do so without the ability to d/l to your hard drive for offline? Of course not. David Brothers over at the 4th letter has a great article talking about this issue: http://4thletter.net/2012/06/who-benefits-from-drm-not-the-consumer/ Also to quote video game overlord, Valve Corporation CEO Gabe Newell's take on it: “Piracy is almost always a service problem and not a pricing problem. For example, if a pirate offers a product anywhere in the world, 24/7, purchasable from the convenience of your personal computer, and the legal provider says the product is region-locked, will come to your country three months after the U.S. release and can only be purchased at a brick and mortar store, then the pirate’s service is more valuable. Most DRM solutions diminish the value of the product by either directly restricting a customer’s use or by creating uncertainty.”
