August 19, 2013 4:33 pm It looks like Lee may fade himself out, some of the upcoming solicits list more artists than Lee and Nguyen. I never really thought Lee would last more than 6 or 8 issues on this anyway.

August 16, 2013 12:02 am Anyone else feel like this is just being used solely as a prologue to Forever Evil? I'm all for stories leading into other stories, they should tie together somehow. Trinity War just doesnt feel like its own thing. I guess I just wish the Secret Society stuff was used less until the last issue. I also think that because we know Forever Evil is happening the ending is somewhat obvious. Hopefully I'm wrong and Johns/Lemire throw in a twist.

August 14, 2013 4:26 pm I have the same issue. I love most comics but with such high prices I can only afford to pick up my absolute favorites. So I usually get a little bummed when the story or art are not what I was expecting. By November I'll have dropped most of my DC titles and moved onto Image's slew of new series. I'm going to pick up more creator owned stuff, I like the consistency of the creative teams more, even if they take a month or two breaks every now and then, as well as new characters that creators have full control over.

August 14, 2013 4:19 pm Aquaman is still great. Besides Batman it's the only other DC book I will definitely not stop reading until the creative team changes.

August 13, 2013 7:14 pm Yeah, the pricing that month is all wacky. I hope the batman price bump isn't because of the glossy covers. Glossy covers don't make comics worth 5 bucks. Honestly I would rather comics be printed on lower quality paper if it cost less to buy them. I read them for story and don't even bag mine anymore.

August 13, 2013 5:30 pm So has anyone noticed the DC solicits for November list Batman at 40 pages but at a price of 4.99. Anyone know whats up with that? I can't image DC trying to sell 5 dollar monthlies. I hope it's a typo, Snyder is great but I'm not paying that much for them.

August 13, 2013 2:47 pm No didnt put that in myself. I made a joke about the title of the show's name while referencing some of the editorials Jim has been posting lately. I Guess the moderators did not find it very funny. I also don't really care if they moderate comments, its not my website, so whatever.
