July 15, 2013 11:51 am I guess I'm happy to see Saga, Hawkeye and Batman up there for the awards, as they're all on my reading list. However, I've dropped Batman as I wasn't really that impressed. Hawkeye is OK - I've read the first trade and liked it but it wasn't knock-my-socks-off like Iron Fist was a few years ago. Just read the 2nd trade of Saga, and while I like it, and it might be really good - I don't think its the greatest thing since sliced bread. Its also got one of the most annoying main characters in it - Alana. I guess both parents live in this thing, based on the narration... but man I wish she would get blasted.

July 11, 2013 12:52 pm Yeah I forgot what happened to AoA Nightcrawler at the end of X-Force...
July 11, 2013 12:51 pm That's now my default for any event. Actually been pretty successful at keeping out since Secret Invasion. No events for me. Sometimes I read the periphery books - like Iron Man during the hammer thing - but otherwise, I stay far away from events.
July 10, 2013 2:47 pm They didn't even get most of the characters back from the Odyssey. They had to come up with all new characters for the Illiad and then kill them off to justify them not appearing. And then they did the Oresteia - inventing not only the Trilogy, but also the revenge story and the modern court-room drama.
July 9, 2013 1:39 pm Its amazing to think that when Mark Twain invented the sequel that we'd still be following the same formula 150 years later.
July 8, 2013 1:35 pm How was Starjammers?
July 8, 2013 1:27 pm Batman is always sitting down. Typically tied to a chair with Robin at his back - also tied up. I've seen this on TV.
July 8, 2013 11:42 am A - I thought he was pretty good in the Wolverine movie B - Have you watched Ray Donovan?
