November 15, 2012 10:52 am The producers have said multiple times that the Island Flashbacks will be ongoing as the mysteries from the island are slowly revealed. while they may potentially be ep's without a flashback they will be a constant for the series. in fact the last scene of the last episode is planned to be the ship arriving at the island to rescue Oliver. We're also supposedly getting the Big Bad for the season in "Count Vertigo" some of the underlying plot points have already been included. One subtle thing I liked in last nights show was the use of color for Willa Holland's Thea (Speedy) First she was in a red top and then later a Gold and Black outfit...both colors for Speedy Costumes! :)

November 8, 2012 10:30 am I'm assuming the fact that we saw the Arrow through the Mask in Ep 1 and Deathstroke had both eyes in this Ep means that Ollie shoots his eye out at some point? Loved the Fishnets comment (Although I doubt she'll ever where them in the show...I expect an outfit similar to he early BoP One. Eddie Fyars was cool but disappointing that he's a Villain...always liked him as an Anti-Hero but I guess Diggle is filling that Role.

September 11, 2012 3:25 pm Been waiting for a Grell Collection for some time. Since ARROW is strongly influenced by Grell's Run here's hoping that the (hoped for) success of the show will finally get DC off their butts! Grell's run was 80 issues so just shy of 1800 pages. Would be nice to see it broken up into four volumes.

August 27, 2012 9:41 am It looks the same with the exception of the boots and gauntlets. However, seeing how it's David Finch it's more likely that he just didn't pay attention to the reference material. He clearly doesn't look to see how to properly draw a bow! ;) As a GA completest I'll pick this up and hope it's better than the other JL title.

It's funny because the Alternate timeline was what I liked most about JJ's trek because it allowed him to NOT be constrained by what had gone before. People can die that we don't expect, stories can hapen that would have contradicted the show etc...Let's be clear though...everything from the TV show STILL happened...just in an alternate reality from the new Movie one.

this is how I'm looking at the DC reboot as well. Now this could be as much a Jumping OFF point as a jumping ON for me and is clearly aimed primarilly at NEW readers. If they succeed the company will only be stronger.

While I understand the moves I still very much dislike the re-numbering of Action, Detective and Batman (Superman was already rebooted once and the title changed and then changed back) and I full expect them to pull a Marvel and still take advantage of the 1,000th issue when it comes around.

I am somewhat excited about the Green arrow book though as it seems to be going where I've said for years the character should go...sort of like the James Bond of the DCU 9If he can have trick arrows he should have other gadgets as well.
