April 29, 2013 7:01 pm Interesting week, makes me want to seek out all those books I didn't get...only got>>> Superman #204 was a WTF issue, the beginning of For Tomorrow which didn't start coming together until a several issues later,talk about a mind bender. Not your average or a very unique Superman story, and it was about the guy we will see in June...coincidence I guess. I also got the 3 last issues of Kyle's GL run, not the issue above which started it, which lead into GL:Rebirth, nice way to send Kyle packing (for or a short while).

April 22, 2013 6:37 pm I'm surprised it took DC until the New52 to change the appearance of the suit with the cloth look, when this movie suit had a more bulletproof look...not that I had a major problem but it kinda nagged me especially when the costume was torn and you saw skin.

April 13, 2013 4:39 pm I started my kid on JLAnimated comics, a copy or two, he cherished it but still wasn't interested at age 7(the age I started), I saw a Green Lantern book about-something to do with learning, can't remember what it really was about, one of those DK books, still didn't work. One thing for sure he will play the games and watch the movies, and he certainly loved the last Cap. America movie, so I gave him an issue of CA (me,not a Cap fan) , still haven't worked, and he's going into age 15, I taunt him a bit out of fun about reading comics instead of doing other stuff, he knows what I'm trying so it still hasn't worked. I'm still cool with his decision, maybe I will get buried with my comics after all.....
