May 7, 2012 6:05 pm I hate The Hulk. Pretty much always have (except for when he was "The Professor/Merged Hulk", which was awesome). But I gotta say, The Hulk was awesome in this movie and I think you're right that the lack of a supporting cast (which I don't think all heroes need, but it never hurts) has been one of The Hulk's numerous problems. I don't personally think Ruffalo was all that great (a bit better than Norton, but I still prefer Bana overall), but he didn't do anything wrong. Bottom line, The Hulk was a joy to watch in The Avengers and he provided the single most *satisfying* moment in the whole movie.

December 13, 2011 6:22 am Dude, The Hulk was a bullshit character when he was invented, he was a bullshit character for years, and now he's a bullshit character that makes no fucking sense. I'm thankful that someone, finally, has noticed that there haven't been any Hulk rules for about twenty years, but personally, I'm astonished the Hulk sells enough issues to continue having a title. Who do I have to blow to kill the big green sonofabitch? We finally got rid of the bloody Sentry, now let's execute The Hulk!

August 29, 2011 4:39 pm Ok, I'm impressed; I think Morrison has accurately represented (with that missionary remark) what I don't like about Alan Moore. It also brings to relief what I don't like about Warren Ellis, which is a slightly different thing.

As for real life? I think "Hancock" actually did a pretty good job of portraying some of it.

* I want more minority characters in Big Two comics and supporting this title with my dollars shows it.
* I like Bendis' writing.
* New #1 means I don't have to worry about "where to start?"

Color me "sold!"
