A pretty good issue using Joes that haven’t been seen in awhile. The art is acceptable but could user tighter…

December 12, 2018 12:12 pm Frank's art is worth it and I definitely don't want fill in artists as it will totally break the flow. But if it is the case he is just slow than that is unacceptable. I thought he was a slow artist but he hasn't done a series in awhile. They should of had a number of issues ready to go before releasing the series. It's unprofessional. This just might be in my head but it seems DC has a problem with delays exponentially more than Marvel.
December 10, 2018 6:59 pm Doomsday Clock is the most interesting mainstream comic in awhile. It seems like there are real stakes. Gary Frank's art is my favorite for DC. That being said the delay is unacceptable. Gary Frank on twitter got testy about it recently. Your explanation about the DC internal war probably explains it. As for Shazam I liked it but I am not a fan of the whole family being Shazam powered. It will probably turn me off the book if it is too focused for a younger audience.
December 23, 2017 1:18 pm My problem was the lack of action. It started off awesome and then when I realized the whole movie was going to be a super slow chase I was very disappointed. I don't find Hux of Kylo intimidating at all and they are too young. The commander of the dreadnought at the beginning would make a better Imperial leader. Finn is terrible and I was rooting for him to die at the end. His whole plot line reminded me of the prequels. The scene with Chewbacca roasting a porg was horrifying. The one character I found interesting was Snoke and we all know what happened. This was basically an alternative remake of Empire. The end seemed thrown in to add some action and like they were saying "hey people love AT ATs" I came out of the theater not knowing how I felt. If the chase was more action packed I would of been fine. Why didn't the ships separate and jump to different places? Or jump and do another quick jump before the Imperials got there?
January 13, 2017 1:27 am I know you guys didn't like the Hanna Barbara reboots but I kind of liked the Scooby Doo one. Until the latest issue showing emaciated and dead dogs trapped in cages and dying in the apocalypse. WTF DC? It's Scobby Doo. It was almost on par with the Afterlife with Archie issue when his dog died except the new Scooby Doo comic doesn't have a serious tone.
November 27, 2016 3:25 pm GI Joe talk is great. Grand Slam originally came with the laser canon and the later the jet pack. In the new comic he had Flash's gear. The crossover was with ROM. TheJoes were taken over by the Dire Wraiths from Marvel continuity.
October 2, 2016 11:41 pm Love the GI Joe talk. I liked early Clutch in the comic. The Vamp and Mauler were some of my favorite vehicles. The Terrordrome for Cobra as it had a lot of play value. I remember having enough money to buy the USS Flag or a stereo. I chose the stereo which in hindsight was a poor choice.
August 1, 2016 1:55 am Sinestro had a big head in the Challenge of the Superfirends cartoon. That is what I thought of when Josh mentioned it.
July 18, 2016 9:27 pm Thanks for the reply. I thought I missed something. Glad you guys are back.
July 18, 2016 7:31 pm I guess I should listened to the show first...
July 18, 2016 7:24 pm Can someone explain DC's Rebirth? I read Rebirth #1. It's still basically the new 52 universe but with some new/old characters? I read Wonder Woman #1 and that seems to tell an origin story but Green Lantern is the same story continued and the new/old Superman is living in the new 52 universe with the new 52 Superman dead. I thought Rebirth was supposed to go back or change something and it basically seems the same. Is there a rebirth #2 coming out?
