November 24, 2008 9:11 pm It really is a great thing to have SD coming out like this...

I think it would be a great idea to do a full-on reboot of the X franchise, but as ohcaroline mentions, that might not be the most likely option.

I also haven't ever seen the OC, so I have absolutely no idea what to expect from the writer.

November 20, 2008 2:13 pm Very nice to be able to hear about Laura's experiences working with Mike.  I've read a bunch of Mike Allred interviews in which he discusses his collaboration with Laura, but I've never come across one with her until now!  It's nice to know that she seems to be fully immersed in quite a few top-notch books there, too.
November 19, 2008 3:14 pm As a HUGE Allred fan, I'm really looking forward to watching this one.
November 18, 2008 4:38 pm My only experience reading the Spirit was a couple years ago when I read the Best of the Spirit trade at my local library.  I wonder if all of the stories included in the special were already in that trade?

@thefreakytiki:  You could be onto something there.

Overall it seems like it might be a bit too early for all of this worrying, even though this does seem to substantiate the Robinson rumor.  If this whole new idea for Action doesn't go over well, we all know that Supes will be back in the book in a heartbeat.

November 18, 2008 4:25 pm I always want to start building up more of an HC collection, but I usually curb my plans when I consider the cost.  I think that Marvel often makes it easier to put off buying HCs, since they usually follow up a Premiere HC release with a softcover just a couple months later.  I guess more than anything the big thing for me is to just read the stories, no matter the format!
November 16, 2008 8:40 pm Great news...thanks for all the shows!

@Jimski:  I am really glad to have most of those now-gone-forever Marvel DVDs.  They are my only real experience with comics in a digital format and I love them!  Without them I wouldn't be able to say that I've read the entire Lee/Kirby FF run or Peter David's huge Hulk run.  I really wish they could have continued those products.  I'm currently reading some mid-eighties Uncanny issues, and to me the DVD is far preferable to buying up back issues or going B&W with Marvel's essentials.

I just love how there's hundreds of comics on a few discs.  It's nice to have bookshelves full of trades and stacks of longboxes and all that, but there's a significant part of my collection that takes up the space of six DVD cases.

November 12, 2008 9:45 am Well, the first problem with me is that I have never read an X-Men book with them together, so I really wouldn't know.  I have been meaning to pick up that Longshot HC...but Dazzler isn't in that, is she?
