January 5, 2011 12:08 am Ah, bliss.  Letters columns. I still think they're relevant, if only for the future for historical purposes.

@PraxJarvin  - That image in the blog post is a two page spread in the DC comics this week to announce the letters column, too. So you'll get to see it full-size tomorrow. =)

November 15, 2010 11:05 am Leibovitz's day rate is well into the tens of thousands of dollars but, hey, this musical is SO deep in debt at this point that what's it matter anymore? If you're going to lose your shirt, go big!
November 1, 2010 12:39 pm My theory is that they've all been too busy dealing with their corporate overlords, or that maybe TW and Disney told them to keep it "professional."
October 27, 2010 4:38 pm And let's not forget the big Mo -- monthly. Sure, Kirkman has had his hiccups, but he still gets 12 issues out a year. So the book becomes a habit. And the assembly line always has fresh material for re-re-re-reprinting.
April 21, 2010 10:50 am Molly -- is that the 50mm f/1.8 or 1.4? Nice job, they're very sharp with a lens that can be tricky to work with, DOF-wise. . .
February 17, 2010 12:25 pm Whoa, scandalous! Neseman gets PAID?!? Congratulations, guys! I look forward to your iPad app now.
July 23, 2009 3:38 pm @Rocket -- Kirkman's books are the only $2 ones I've seen so far. @all The exclusive just covers iPod type devices. There are multIple comic readers selling comics now. This doesn't impact Longbox at all. I have other problems with Comixology's app that I'll get to in a special Pipeline Podcast tonight. :)

I loved Peter David's run on "The Incredible Hulk" and I also loved this book. For completely different reasons.  That's as it should be -- every book judged on its own merits.

From what I understand, the stories Alan Moore wanted to tell in SUPREME got folded into TOM STRONG.  So read TOM STRONG and pretend like it's the next SUPREME TPB. =)

And "Complete Lowlife" is going for $70 on Amazon?  Hmmm, might be time to dig up my copy. . .

Not to step on Mark Sable's hope too much or anything, but THE AUTHORITY was the natural progression of Warren Ellis' "StormWatch" run, which began in 1996 -- the first term of the first Mr. Hope president, Bill Clinton.

But, hey, I'm glad Mark Waid isn't a self-loathing American anymore.  I'm only sorry we won't see more EMPIRE now, I guess. . .
