September 27, 2010 4:59 pm I just associate him with the awful storylines of the 90s. How much of that he was responsible for or just riding market forces I can't say.
August 25, 2010 8:39 am One factor I don't hear discussed but I think contributed greatly is that the target audience for Scott Pilgrim is also exactly the same that's most knowledgeable and comfortable with BitTorrenting pirated movies. A significant chunk of the "fans" stole it.
July 31, 2010 2:21 pm The cynic in me believed Thunderstrike and many of Tom DeFalco's "original" creations were just recreating classic characters so that he could get residuals from them.
July 7, 2010 8:47 am @nmoline. Comixology allows you to view any comic you bought on their web viewer too. So it works surprisingly well on laptop and notebooks. So far this is my preferred way of reading digital comics.
June 28, 2010 2:59 pm That's actually one of my gripes about The Big Bang Theory. None of them look like the typical comic-con, gamer, or anime convention goer. The runt and the super skinny guy are common enough but they're outnumbered by the guys with the XXL t-shirt collection.
June 23, 2010 3:35 pm Is anyone else concerned that Comixology is on the path of becoming the Diamond Comics of the digital age. First they published tons of indie books through their app. They power Marvel's digital comics app. Now they power the DC Comics app. That puts a huge dent in the plans for Longbox and Graphic.ly. You can say the first one to market wins but it makes me a little nervous for the future.
June 4, 2010 2:19 pm So would I but I'm waiting for desktop program instead of something just for smartphones. (C'mon Graphic.ly, hurry up and get the PC client out of alpha and into decent beta shape. No AIR for me. Thanks.)

@vadamowens. "Its so funny to me how judgemental some of you can be of people that pirate information."

Uh, yeah. It's called stealing, no matter which way you to try to gloss over it with new media speak. You got something you didn't pay for with recompense to those that created ow own the work.

April 8, 2010 12:54 pm @Josh, not saying you but others on here who aren't as scrupulous.

PDFs, especially if they didn't come from legit sources, are really dangerous and a good way to malware on your PC or Mac.
