June 26, 2013 11:07 pm This was really gross but very interesting. But gross. Good job.
June 26, 2013 11:05 pm What a wonderful idea this was! Too bad I missed it, but it definitely made me want to check out the book.

April 15, 2013 10:26 am Ooh. Jessica Alba. That's a tough choice to get behind. Lotta great choices on there, but that one... I don't know, I see Alana as being a little more hard-edged-- it's fine if she's pretty but she should be clever, tough, admirable, and brave first and foremost. Those are qualities that have to come across in the acting as much if not more than in the script.
March 11, 2013 11:34 am Y'know, I've always wondered what motivated Bruce Wayne to put on a costume and fight crime. Why is he so driven? How does he know how to do what he does? Where did he get the idea to use a bat as a symbol? These are questions that have gone unanswered for decades. I, for one, am glad we finally have some creators on the book willing to take the Batman mythos in new directions and address some of the issues that have never been tackled by anyone else in any medium.
March 4, 2013 12:18 pm Wonderful, wonderful article. Someone should Martin Luther it onto the door of DC's offices. Best line: "My generation had an epiphany: if you want to be perceived as an adult, you can act the way adults act and do the things adults do, or you can keep on doing the same stuff you’ve been doing since you were nine but wage a PR campaign until that stuff is declared adult behavior. The fruits of our campaign are all around you." followed closely by: "Speedball is a cutter. Who’s stupid now, Dad?" I guess money is going to be the deciding factor here, but I really hope readers, retailers, creators, and publishers start to take note of sentiments like this one.
March 1, 2013 10:36 am For anyone interested in Deadman, I highly (HIGHLY) recommend Deadman: Love after Death and Deadman: Exorcism from Mike Baron and Kelley Jones (@TheNextChampion). It's a really dark, creepy, and often straight-up disturbing story with Jones at his most beautifully Gothic. The two titles form one long story published between 1989-92, and they fit in with the best of that pre-Vertigo DC horror vibe. Find it if you can.
