I had been looking forward to this She-Hulk/X-Factor crossover, the new characters who were supposed to be introduced (and were, in this issue) and I’d been looking forward to X-Factor finally having a consistent artist on the book, who could hopefully produce month in and month out. I didn’t know much about Larry Stroman, though I think I’ve seen his earlier X-Factor work and didn’t mind it.
That being said, this is simply the worst drawn issue I think I’ve bought, just about ever. I couldn’t concentrate on what was going on, because the art was just oddly, oddly unpleasant. I don’t mean to creator bash, but it’s really upsetting that a book that I’ve been with from the start has this guy drawing it now, because I’m not sure I can justify buying it again, with Larry Stroman on art.
Perhaps there is someone out there who will say ‘I loved the art, it was wondefully stylized and beautiful’ but all I can do is speak for me in saying: it was a severe impediement to the book, as I’m not even sure what happened. I litterally could not concentrate.
So, with that being the case, I think possibly I disliked the art enough that it may just be my least favorite issue of the year. I’m sad to give such a negative review to a book that I have LOVED (outside of other inconsistencies on art) from the start, but man… it was just impenetrable for me, with that art guiding the story.
Art: 1 - Poor

dude… you’re name is a reference to the weezer song, "In the Garage" right. You might be my new hero.
Also, totally agree on this artist probably ruining an amazing series.
Heh, indeed it is! I use it over on the Bendis Board too, it’s my go to nerdy internet handle.
