Is it sad that I’m so bored with some of these stories, that I’m not
even willing to read the one oversized page of story that they have in
this book?

I still feel like i”m getting my money’s worth with this
book. The awesome Metamorpho story is almost enough of a cool thing on
its own for that to be true, but there also feels like a lot of filler,
and this is just the third issue.

I normally love Arcudi but I could be
happy never having to read another Superman feels alienated story.

And
as much as I love the snappy dialogue, the Batman story feels more like
a 100 Bullets issue with Batman in the shadows than a Batman story,
which means it will probably have some trite ending where the whole
story plays out and then Batman shows up and does something or another
to end it.

Still, some stories, like the Titans and Catwoman, are
actually getting better as they go.

 I still cannot stand the Wonder
Woman story, but it is fairly easy to skip over, large pages aside.

However, this series is banking on its novelty more than it’s
readability, in my opinion, and as much as I am enoying Baker or Pope’s
stuff, it is grating on my nerves to have to refold this thing and put
it away.
