I think from now on, when it comes to reviewing this series, I will review each segment in a sentence or two instead of reviwing the whole thing.

Batman: You can’t go wrong with this team up. It jumps a bit in time, but this can really be an exciting mystery if Risso keeps it in line.

Kamandi: Perfect, that’s the best word to use for this. Gibbons/Sook did this to make this exactly like an adventure comic of the Sunday strips.

Superman: Arcudi has a good, humble voice on Clark and Bermejo is perfect to draw a Gotham landscape.

Deadman: Love the art in this by Heuck, it invokes the late 60’s to early 70’s comics. I’m not up on knowledge with Deadman but this comic gives a bit more origin for him.

Green Lantern: Once again, perfect art by Quinones. Where has he been all my life and why isn’t he doing the regular GL book?

Hawkman: That little girl creeped me out in this. Other then that it’s a great narrative by Baker and beatuiful art.

Metamorpho: I recently read the first issue of Allred’s ‘Madman’, so the only panel layout in this really caught my eye. But the bottom of this page with the little kids was funny as hell.

Teen Titans: Art is way to sloppy for me, but it’s not a deal breaker. Loved the ‘Dick’ joke.

Strange Adventures: Pope’s art is a bit districting to me. It can get too ugly sometimes and it’s hard to tell what’s going on. Still, like Kamandi, this is almost how an adventure strip is like.

Supergirl: This feels like something out of Tiny Titans. Can’t say much about Palmiotti’s writing, but I love Amanda Conner’s art.

Metal Men: The surprise of this entire series so far. Who knew Didio could tell a pretty good Metal Men story? Jokes are a bit too corny for my liking though.

Wonder Woman: This wasn’t as hard to read then I thought it would be. Caldwell still didn’t get the memo on how to make this strip. If this was a regular comic, maybe I would like this a bit more. As what it is, it’s definitely the worst of the bunch.

Sgt. Rock: Fantastic

The Flash: I want Kerschl and Fletcher on the Flash ongoing right now. To hell with Geoff Johns!

The Demon and Catwoman: Love the art in this, just feels so gothic and moody. Story is going a bit too slow for me, but I’m sure it’ll pick up eventually.

Overall this is another soild issue by the whole team. I’ve heard too many people say the uniqueness died after reading this. For me, I am still 100% on board with this title and will continue to love it. Shame about the Wonder Woman story.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 5 - Excellent
